Abstract: The invention relates to a grandstand having a plurality of seat rows and/or standing space rows which rise in a stepped manner and are accessible via at least one access route which bridges the height difference between the seat rows and/or standing space rows, the gradient of the seat rows and/or standing space rows and the gradient of the access route enclosing an angle of from approximately 20° to approximately 90°, with the result that the gradient of the access route has a first component which runs parallel to the direction of the space rows and runs towards the space rows.
