Abstract: Self-insulated power supply line for vehicles in which a magnetically attractable flexible belt element housed in an insulating casing provides in sequence the power supply to a plurality of conducting elements spaced from one another and external to the casing. A detector circuit is provided adapted to measure the dispersion current which flows between the live conducting element and conducting elements adjacent to it in the case of poor insulation conditions of the road surface.

Abstract: A railway circuit for detecting the free or occupied state of the same and for sending signalling information along a railway line to a vehicle travelling along said railway line. A signal generator generates a signal with varying current modulated with FSK technique on a basis of a modulation code. The signal is supplied to a coil magnetically coupled with first and second rails that constitute the single railway circuit to induce a variable current modulated by the code on the electric circuit formed by the portions of the first and second rail short-circuited alternatively by the electric joint. The vehicle is provided with a current sensor suitable for detecting the variable current for extraction of the code and sending the signal to the driver. A signal generator generates a signal in compliance with new safety requirements to determine, with the receiver, the free/occupied state of the railway circuit.

Abstract: A device (1) for safe data transmission to railway beacons has a first and a second circuit section (1a, 1b) independent of and galvanically separate from each other, and each having: a microprocessor (6a, 6b) selection stage (2a, 2b) receiving information signals relative to the status of a portion of a railway line, and generating at least one telegram for transmission to a beacon; and a control stage (3a, 3b) comparing the telegrams generated by the first and second circuit section (1a, 1b) for enabling/disabling data transmission to the beacon. The first circuit section (1a) also has a transmission enabling stage (4, 5, 17), which allows transmission to the beacon of the telegram generated by the first circuit section (1a), in the event the comparison performed by the control stage (3a, 3b) is successful.
Abstract: A railway beacon having a casing (3) supporting an electronic circuit (4), which receives an electromagnetic enabling signal from a vehicle travelling along a railway line, and generates a coded response signal (telegram) transmitted to the vehicle. The casing (3) is formed in one piece from insulating material, and has at least one sunken seat (12a) housing the electronic circuit (4), which is embedded in a layer of insulating silicone resin (40) poured and set inside the sunken seat.
