Patent number: 5395324Abstract: Apparatus for the reliable filling of at least two containers below the skin surface, particularly of an infusion pump, with two septa made from a soft material, so that easy perforation by needles is possible and further seals which are positioned after the septa, at least one space being in each case provided between the seals and the septa connected to the catheters or containers to be filled, in the case of different septa said spaces being at different distances from a needle stop, a corresponding number of needles with lateral openings for filling purposes are provided and the openings for different needles are at different distances (A, B) from the needle tip.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 1994Date of Patent: March 7, 1995Assignee: Anschutz + Co., GmbHInventors: Jurgen Hinrichs, Karl-Heinz Otto

Patent number: 5382236Abstract: An infusion pump with a flexible medication container, a chamber containing a C.sub.2 Cl.sub.2 F.sub.4 propellant gas acting upon the medication container and a capillary tube acting as a choke. The propellant gas chamber accommodates a pressure of 2.5 bar over atmospheric.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1993Date of Patent: January 17, 1995Assignee: Anschutz & Co., GmbHInventors: Karl-Heinz Otto, Gerd Pfister

Patent number: 5213436Abstract: The invention is directed to a spring joint having two holding bodies. The spring joint is fixedly attached to a base at one of the holding bodies. The second holding body is provided for the attachment of a component which is intended to undergo a pivot movement relative to the base during operation. A spring element acts as a connecting body between the two holding bodies. A stop is mounted on the spring joint so that the spring joint can be used again after impact loads or intermittent vibration. This stop includes at least one stop body which limits the movement range of the spring body in the spring joint for radial and axial load to the elastic range.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 1991Date of Patent: May 25, 1993Assignee: Anschutz & Co. GmbHInventors: Karl-Heinz Fichtner, Kurt Brenner

Patent number: 4597475Abstract: The invention relates to a universally movable suspension member for a direction indicating display system, especially for a gyro system (2), in which a bellows unit (1) is provided between a revolving disk (3) and the gyro system (2). The suspension member is designed as a double-bellows unit including two oppositely folded bellows (5, 6) so that, while a reliable and accurate indication is obtained, the volume of construction is decreased and the manufacturing costs are reduced.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 1983Date of Patent: July 1, 1986Assignee: Anschutz & Co. GmbHInventors: Martin Lassig, Ulf Bey

Patent number: 4375726Abstract: In this gyro compass the direction-indicating gyro system is suspended pivotably in all directions from a pendulum, which is mounted to rotate about a vertical axis in a frame integral with a ship, and which has on its upper end an element that extends into a tank containing a damping fluid for dampening oscillations of the pendulum.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1981Date of Patent: March 8, 1983Assignee: Anschutz & Co., GmbHInventors: Ulf Bey, Martin Lassig, Hermann Stotzer

Patent number: 4374423Abstract: Signals from a rudder position setting control and from a rudder position sensor constitute the only electrical information sources needed for operating a monitoring system for a rudder control that produces an alarm when the rudder control does not function effectively. The difference between the desired rudder setting and the actual rudder position, generated by a differential amplifier, is fed to a bi-directional limit circuit and a differentiating circuit is used to generate a signal corresponding to the rate of change of rudder position, which signal is likewise provided to a bi-directional limit circuit.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 1980Date of Patent: February 15, 1983Assignee: Anschutz & Co. GmbHInventors: Walter Kundler, Reinhold Pientak, Claus Schulz, Wolfgang Skerka

Patent number: 4365851Abstract: In order to prevent the occurrence of friction and attendant wear of the device for returning the lubricant from a porous body forming a lubricant reservoir to a bearing surface, a circumferential slot is formed bounded on one side by a helically grooved surface (32) adjoining the bearing surface and rotating with the shaft (10, 18) forming a pump and on the other side by a porous surface of the porous lubricant reservoir (14, 16) which thus does not touch the bearing parts (20-24) rotating with the shaft (10, 18). The slot (36) preferably narrows in the direction of rotation, and the slot (36) is widened into axially extending chambers (38) distributed along its circumference.Type: GrantFiled: August 15, 1980Date of Patent: December 28, 1982Assignee: Anschutz & Co., GmbHInventors: Helmut Andres, Karl-Heinz Fichtner, Hans-Siegfried Fisher

Patent number: 4008623Abstract: A gyroscopic instrument which may be a compass includes a hollow sphere enclosing at least one motor-driven gyroscope and floating in an electrically conductive liquid within the inner surface of revolution of a vessel surrounding the sphere at a distance therefrom providing for a gap therebetween. A motor-driven pump circulates the liquid through an inlet of the vessel, through the gap, through an outlet of the vessel and through a passageway back to the pump. The surfaces confining the gap have pairs of opposite conductive electrode portions for conducting electrical energy to the motor-driven gyroscope or gyroscopes. The liquid circulating through the gap exerts a bearing pressure on the sphere holding it spaced from the inner surface of the vessel. For this purpose the gap has a relatively narrow bearing zone communicating with the inlet and a relatively wider zone communicating with the outlet.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 1975Date of Patent: February 22, 1977Assignee: Anschutz & Co.
