Abstract: Module for being mounted to telephone network interface apparatus and for interconnecting and disconnecting a subscriber premises line to and from an incoming telephone company line and for providing a demarcation point between the lines for facilitating the determination of whether a fault exists on the subscriber premises line side of the module or on the incoming telephone company line side of the module, the module includes a base provided with a first latch, a jack provided on the base for being connected to the incoming telephone company line, subscriber terminals provided on the base for being connected to the subscriber premises line, a cover mounted pivotally to the base and provided with a second latch which is resilient and for releasably engaging the first latch to releasably latch the cover to the base upon the cover being pivoted toward said base sufficiently to engage the first and second latching means.
Abstract: Combination telephone network interface apparatus for interconnecting an incoming telephone lines to a telephone subscriber premises line and cable television module mounted to the telephone network interface apparatus and for connecting incoming cable television signals to a television set or sets of the telephone company subscriber(s). Cable television module embodiments, per se, for being mounted to telephone network interface apparatus and for connecting incoming cable television signals to the aforementioned television sets.
Abstract: Combination apparatus for connecting one or more incoming telephone company lines to one or more telephone subscriber premises lines and for connecting incoming coaxial cable signals such as incoming cable television signals to a receiver of such signals such as a television set, and a coaxial cable module which may be embodied as a cable television module for being mounted to telephone network interface apparatus and for connecting incoming cable television signals to a television set.

Abstract: Apparatus and method of providing a fiber optic signal splitter for receiving an incoming fiber optic signal and for splitting the signal into a first plurality of signals, fiber optic splicing apparatus for splicing the first plurality of fiber optic signals to fiber optic splitter apparatus which splits the first plurality of signals into a second plurality of signals greater in number than the first plurality of signals. Combination fiber optic splice tray for splicing an incoming optical fiber to apparatus for splitting optical fiber signals received over the incoming optical fiber.
Abstract: Coaxial cable connector for interconnecting coaxial cable signals to a receiver and which provides a coaxial cable demarcation point for permitting a reasonable determination of whether the failure of the receiver to function is due to the failure of the receiver to receive the signals or is due to the failure of the receiver itself to function. The connector may also include telephone interconnecting means for interconnecting at least one incoming telephone line to at least one telephone customer line and for providing a telephone demarcation point therebetween to permit the a reasonable determination of whether a fault exists on the telephone subscriber's line or the incoming telephone company line.

Abstract: Optical fiber closure including a pair of mating surfaces one of which is provided with a groove having a first volume and a deformable sealing member mounted in and extending outwardly from the groove with the groove having a volume larger than the volume of the sealing member; upon the mating surfaces being forced together, the sealing member is compressed and deforms within the groove and provides a substantially fluid-tight seal between the surfaces. The closure may include a plurality of cable clamps provided with outwardly extending deformable sealing members which are received in grooves having a larger volume than the volume of the sealing members whereby upon the cable clamps being forced into engagement with optical fiber cables entering or exiting the closure the sealing members are received in the grooves and compressed and deformed within the grooves to provide a fluid-tight seal between the cable clamps and optical fiber cables entering or exiting the closure.
