Abstract: A twist mop having a handle, a wringing actuator, and a mop head into which an end portion of the mop handle extends and which is releasably and substantially irrotationally coupled at first and second opposite ends thereof respectively to said end portion of the mop handle and to the actuator, the actuator being movable relative to the handle to effect torsional wringing of the mop head; the mop head being demountable from the handle and actuator by decoupling it from the actuator and from said end portion of the handle and withdrawing said end portion of the handle from the mop head in the direction from said first to said second end of the mop head.
