    Abstract: A mammary prosthesis is disclosed as comprising a wedge shaped sheet of flexible biocompatible material having reinforced upper and lower attachment portions for attachment to bone of a patient by bone anchors, with the lower attachment portion being anchored to one or more ribs. The lower attachment portion includes a support member less flexible than the sheet material having suture receiving openings for receiving bone anchor sutures. A method of surgically implanting the mammary prosthesis is also disclosed.
