A fixing device is attached to each support arm to secure the support arm in a selected extended position. Centering brackets are attached to the support arms for centering the receptacle on the rotary device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for welding profile bodies onto planar bodies, in particular flat bodies, with at least one welding torch head. To simplify the welding of profile bodies to planar bodies, the positional assignment of the welding torch head to the weld seam is defined according to the invention by a profiled seam detector whose profile shape is adapted to the profile of the profile body, the seam detector being adapted to be activated towards the profile body and being provided with rolls through which it can be supported on the profile body.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a brewing house system including at least two wort coppers connected to the vapour compression system via copper ventilating pipes. In order to simplify such a brewing house system with respect to the structural expenditure required, the present invention provides the features that two pipe sections of the copper ventilating pipes are connected to a common change-over device, each of said pipe sections leading away from one wort copper and said change-over device connecting one of the two wort coppers to the vapour compression system in accordance with its respective switching position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an aerating nozzle for aerating liquids containing organic substances. To keep the foam formation in organic substances to be aerated within a controlled limits, the present invention suggests that the angles of inclination of the side walls defining the liquid channel should nowhere be greater than 30.degree. relative to the longitudinal axis of the aerating nozzle which extends in the direction of flow, with the distribution bushing whose liquid channel is of a straight configuration being arranged such that is can be replaced by distribution bushings which differ in number and/or size of the gas entry openings.

Abstract: An installation for producing wort by means of a cereal cooker and by means of a mash tun, wherein the cereal cooker is connected to a malt adjunct bin via an adjunct prewasher and to a grist bin, and wherein the mash tun is connected to the grist bin via a mash bin connected to a water supply and via a pump. A combination bin is provided to reduce the headroom of such an installation and to save construction expenses, which is formed as an adjunct prewasher and a mash tun.

Abstract: The invention relates to a horizontal filter with a filter housing, in which an arrangement of superimposed, spaced filter elements is contained, and with distributor means supplying liquid to be filtered to the filter arrangement in a main direction of flow from below to the top, from which supply lines for the supply of liquid to be filtered branch off to the individual filter elements. A horizontal filter with a higher throughput is provided by the invention, since it is provided that the distributor means comprises distributor lines guided between the wall of the filter housing and the filter arrangement and supply lines in each case distributed across the circumference of the individual filter elements and branching off from the distributor lines, and that the supply lines are in each case provided with a flow reduction chamber, which has at least one communication opening to a distributor line and at least one outlet opening for the discharge of liquid to be filtered above the allocated filter element.

Abstract: The invention relates to a ventilation nozzle for fluids.In order to enable a simple cleaning and an inexpensive manufacture, the fluid channel in the ventilation nozzle is formed of two telescopically assembled tube sections. The two tube sections are connected to each other by radially outwardly protruding flanges and by fixing screws which are distributed along their circumference, with the flange of the tube section sealing the annular channel to the environment being mounted to its frontal end.

Abstract: The invention relates to a wort boiler apparatus comprising a wort boiler vessel and at least one separate heating circuit external of the boiler vessel and including a heat exchanger for heating or boiling the wort, the heat exchanger comprising an arrangement of heat exchanger pipes for passing the wort through the heat exchanger. The object of the invention is to provide a heat exchanger adapted to be adjusted to different evaporation values as required for making different types of beer. To attain this object, the invention provides that the arrangement of heat exchanger pipes includes pipe connections and valves in an arrangement permitting the wort to be passed through the heat exchanger along flowpaths of different lengths.
