Abstract: It is disclosed an amusement device (1) comprising a vehicle (2) riding on a track (3), said vehicle comprising a support frame (4) and a compartment (5) having one or more seats (52) for housing one or more passengers, the compartment being moveably connected to said support frame by a shaft (7), to rotate about an axis (Y) with respect to said support frame, from a first position (P1) to at least one second position (P2) in a rotation angular interval, at least when a centrifugal force acts on the passenger compartment (5). The vehicle comprises at least one restoring element (6) configured to rotate back said compartment (5) towards said first position (P1) for at least part of the angular interval between said at least one second position (P2) and said at least one first position (P1). The restoring element (6) is directly or indirectly constrained to said shaft (7).

Abstract: A passenger restraint device for amusement rides and a method for retaining at least one passenger by means of the restraint device. The device comprises at least one restraint element provided with at least one contact surface intended to be placed in contact with at least one part of the body of a passenger. The restraint element is movable between at least one open position, in which the restraint element is not in contact with the passenger and at least one closed position in which the restraint element is in contact with at least one part of the passenger's body. The restraint element comprises at least one sensor to detect a contact between the restraint element and at least one part of the body of the passenger, preferably a contact with a passenger's thighs.

Abstract: Amusement device comprising a base structure (2), an arm (3) constrained at least rotationally to said base structure (2), a rotating structure (4) provided with at least one vehicle (8) and rotatably constrained, with respect to one end of said arm, around a rotation axis (R), and movement means (6) for moving the arm between at least a first load position in which passengers are loaded, and a second rotation position of the rotating structure (4). The arm comprises at least two portions (31, 32) mutually movable, and in the load position, the arm portions are completely comprised in a cylinder (C) having an axis that is said rotation axis (R), and having a radius that is the distance from the vehicle to the rotation axis.

Abstract: An amusement ride (1) and a method for its operation are disclosed. The amusement ride comprises a track (10) along which at least one vehicle (50) is movable, and at least one station (2) for the embarkation and/or disembarkation of passengers. The station comprises at least one platform (3) arranged above a portion of said track (10) in correspondence of the station (2), and the platform comprises an opening (S) for the transit of the vehicle (50) in the station. At least one floor element (20a, 20b, 20c) is arranged in at least one first position in which said floor element closes the opening (S) and is movable from the at least one first position to at least one second position to allow the transit of said vehicle (50) in the station (2). Returning means (25) are configured to move the at least one floor element (20a, 20b, 20c) from the at least one second position back to the at least one first position in which said floor element closes the opening (S).

Abstract: It is disclosed a water amusement ride (1) comprising at least one vehicle (2) comprising means (6) for accommodating at least one passenger, a container (10) for storing water having an opening (10a) to define a water surface (S). The vehicle (2) is movable between a raised position (RP) with respect to the water surface (S), and a stop position (SP), in which at least part of the vehicle is submerged in the water. The ride further comprises lifting means (30) to move the vehicle from the stop position to the raised position, and wherein the vehicle (2) moved from the raised position (RP) towards said stop position (SP) is decelerated by the contact with water in said container (10) to reach the stop position (SP).

Abstract: Amusement device (1) comprising a platform (2) riding on a track (3), said platform being provided with at least one arm (4), moveably connected to said platform, to rotate about a pivot (7) with respect to said platform, from a first position (P1) to at least one second position (P2), at least when a centrifugal force acts on said arm, and a compartment (5) for housing one or more passengers, integral with or connected to said at least one moveable arm, characterized in that said platform comprises means (6) for stably restoring said at least one arm (4) in said first position (P1) at least when said centrifugal force no longer acts on said moveable arm.

The ride further includes at least one seat for at least one rider connected to the first portion of the main arm, at least one movable aerodynamic surface, and a control device for modifying the angle of incidence of the aerodynamic surface with respect to the air flow impacting it during the rotation of the main arm about the central axis.

Abstract: A roundabout for performing acrobatic figures such as barrel roll comprises a main arm rotatable around a central axis A and having a longitudinal axis C, a second arm rotatable about an axis of rotation B perpendicular to the longitudinal axis C of the main arm, and a vehicle fixed on the second arm at a distance from the axis of rotation B of the second arm and having a longitudinal axis z directed radially towards the axis of rotation B. The vehicle is fixed to the second arm so that its position with respect to the second arm does not change during the operation of the roundabout.

Abstract: A seat for amusement apparatus including a support and means for immobilizing the user on the support. The immobilizing means comprise at least one support in front of the user and opposing means suitable for acting on the user's back. The opposing means comprises an arm which can move between a lowered position in which the user can sit down on the support and a raised position in which one end of the arm abuts against the user's back. The seat may optionally have a motorcycle shape and include handlebars and retractable leg extensions projecting from each side of the seat for maintaining a user's legs in a crouched motorcycle riding position.

A seat may be connected to at least one of the platforms and may include, for example, a support and an immobilization device for immobilizing the user on the support suitable for acting on the user's back. The seat may optionally have a motorcycle shape and may include handlebars and retractable leg extensions projecting from each side of the seat for maintaining a user's legs in a crouched motorcycle riding position. At least one of the platforms may include a bridging portion to bridge a gap between the platforms during, for example, loading and unloading of the amusement apparatus with riders.
