Abstract: A method and device for practicing aquaculture in the open sea which basically comprises a bow net means of rigid construction having means permitting it to float in a partially submerged condition or fully immersed in the water without touching the bottom of the sea. The bow net means includes constant-buoyancy tanks and variable-buoyancy tanks, the latter being adapted to be filled with either air or water.
