Abstract: A temporary power tap is disclosed consisting of an enclosure having a plurality of electrical receptacles mounted therein. The enclosure is adapted to be temporarily mounted to a wall, work bench or other surface by means of a slide mounting arrangement. The slide mounting arrangement includes a T-shaped channel formed in the rear portion of the enclosure. The T-shaped channel is dimensioned to engage two or more screw heads which extend slightly above the surface to which the power tap is to be secured. The channel captures the screw heads therein securing the enclosure to the desired surface.
