Patent number: 5129807Abstract: An apparatus for high frequency molding plastic material using a mold made of a conventional material for applying this technique, e.g. a silicone elastomer or like material. The mold is kept locked shut while the shaped plastic material is cooling by the effect of a pressure reduction set up inside the mold after the high frequency electric field has been applied.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 1990Date of Patent: July 14, 1992Assignee: AnverInventors: Robert Oriez, Elie Gras

Patent number: 5069835Abstract: A method for high frequency molding by injecting a liquid plastic material under pressure into a mold, while simultaneously venting the inside cavity of the mold, optionally by applying to suction. In order to overmold and/or mold onto a prisoner a part in the form of a closed loop, a sealing insert (i) is disposed between the openings into the mold for its injection nozzle (17) and its venting nozzle (18). The shape of the insert corresponds to the profile of the mold, and the insert is made of a material having the same nature as the injected plastic material, such that the insert melts and is welded to the molded or overmolded part when the high frequency electric field is applied by means of an appropriate generator. The injection and the venting nozzle are controlled by respective double action actuator devices fitted with pistons and piston rods made of a material which does not exhibit dielectric loss, and forming a removable unit assembly.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 1990Date of Patent: December 3, 1991Assignee: AnverInventors: Robert Oriez, Elie Gras

Patent number: 4800049Abstract: A process and an apparatus obtain plastic molded objects according to a technique which consists of introducing the plastic into a silicone elastomer mold, then inserting this mold into a high frequency device comprising a turntable "carrousel", a series of high frequency heating presses and a cooling device. The process is characterized by the introduction of plastic into one end of the mold in the form of liquid plastisol under low pressure, i.e., less than 1 Magapascal. The apparatus employs a carrousel, a mold having two male inserts and resting on the carrousel, vacuum-creating means and plastisol injection means.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1987Date of Patent: January 24, 1989Assignee: AnverInventor: Elie Gras

Patent number: 4454619Abstract: A press comprising a flexible pocket or elastic membrane, that is adjustable in height and serves as a means for exerting a uniform enveloping pneumatic or hydraulic pressure, between the glued insole and the mounted upper of an article of footwear, which is held between locking elements during the exertion of pressure by the pocket. The locking elements consist of a single shaper closely contacting the contours of the footwear and remaining fixed on the press frame, during operation of said pocket, and a toe support that is placed against the base of the upper at the level of the instep. Thus, any creasing of the upper portion of the footwear is avoided by securely holding the footwear immobile during the pressure operation.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 1982Date of Patent: June 19, 1984Assignee: AnverInventor: Lucien Bichet

Patent number: 4422198Abstract: A machine for making very long counters shaped in a single pass, comprising a first double shaper/punch station for performing hot reactivation of the counter and a second shaper/punch station for effecting bending and stabilization of the back elements of the footwear. The machine includes very long punches, bent to the exact shape of the counter and at the second station, comprises shapers the last edge of which exhibits a hardness notably greater than that of the upper part of the shaper. The machine is particularly adapted for making women's high heel shoes.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 1982Date of Patent: December 27, 1983Assignee: AnverInventor: Lucien Bichet
