  • Patent number: 10561872
Abstract: Provided herein is a fire sprinkler assembly including a bracket hub coupled to a bracket bar, and an adjustable drop coupled to the bracket hub. The adjustable drop may include an inner casing and an outer casing surrounding the inner casing, wherein the inner and outer casings include corresponding threading to permit rotation therebetween for adjusting an axial height, along a lengthwise axis, of the inner casing. In some approaches, a flexible metal conduit is directly coupled to a distal end of the inner casing or the outer casing. In some approaches, the inner casing includes a bellow disposed within an interior of the outer casing, the bellow having an expandable central component permitting contraction or expansion, which allows a sprinkler head coupled to the inner casing to be raised or lowered, accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10500427
Abstract: An adjustable bracket includes a first bracket portion with a first leg and a first bar element, a second bracket portion with a second leg and a second bar element, and a hub assembly supported on at least one of the first and second bracket portions. The hub assembly can be configured to couple a flexible hose to the adjustable bracket. The first bar element can be telescopically received by the second bar element so that a distance between the first and second legs is selectively adjustable. A fastener can fix the first and second bar elements in a desired relationship. The hub assembly can include first and second support members that are pivotably connected to rotate between open and closed positions. The second support member may have a slot that allows the second support member to rotate and move laterally with respect to the first support member.

  • Patent number: 10279367
Abstract: Provided herein is a sprinkler system including a compact-design connector coupling a flexible conduit to a sprinkler body. In one approach a sprinkler assembly includes a t-joint connector, a sprinkler body (e.g., a dry-type pendent body) coupled to the t-joint connector at a first opening of the t-joint connector, and a flexible conduit coupled to the t-joint connector at a second opening of the t-joint coupling. The sprinkler assembly may further include an adjustable bracket coupling the sprinkler body to a building structure, such as a ceiling or wall. The t-joint connector eliminates the use of an elbow-type connection to a flexible hose, thus enabling use in a freezer/cooler application, while also reducing the overall footprint of the sprinkler assembly.
