Abstract: A method is provided wherein a location, for example a GPS location, of the mobile communication device (100) is determined, and a location, for example a GPS location, of the vehicle is determined. The location of the mobile communication device (100) is compared to the location of the vehicle. A location of the mobile communication device (100) is triangulated within the vehicle based on the comparison of the location of the mobile communication device (100) to the location of the vehicle. The use of the mobile communication device (100) is controlled based on the location of the mobile communication device (100) within the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20140090150
Abstract: A thermal-electronic device includes a first thermo-electric material having a first charge and a second thermo-electronic material having a second charge that is opposite the first charge. A flexible conductive interconnection is positioned between the first thermo-electric material and the second thermo-electric material to bond the first thermo-electric material and the second thermo-electric material into a segment. A plurality of segments are bonded together to form a thread having alternating first thermo-electric materials and second thermo-electric materials. The conductive interconnection allows a charge to flow between the first thermo-electric materials and second thermo-electric materials.

  • Publication number: 20090302999
Abstract: A vehicle security and monitoring control system having one or more vehicle security and monitoring control (VSMCM) controllers, one or more wireless remotes and one or more base stations connected to a computer. The VSMCM controller prevents operation of a vehicle in a safe manner by requesting protected state configuration changes within the control module within the vehicle when prompted to disable the vehicle, and changes the protected state configuration back to the original state within the control module when prompted to enable the vehicle. The wireless remote prompts the VSMCM controller to lock doors, unlock doors, enable vehicle operation or disable vehicle operation of the control module within the vehicle. The base station communicates with the VSMCM controllers to update and change operation of the controllers, as well as record events and vehicle information taken by the controllers.
