    Abstract: A narrow door opener which has a capability of being mounted in a small space between the end of a door roll of, for example, a curtain door and any impediment spaced therefrom. The door opener has on its flank a waisted region to accommodate a mounting bracket below the axle axis of the door roll to be opened thereby. The flank to flank distance (not counting door roll engagement features) is less than 200 mm and preferably less than 100 mm.
