    Abstract: A power supply apparatus in the form of a compact system is provided in order to eliminate the disadvantages associated with known photovoltaic power supply apparatus for locations that are remote from power mains. To this end, an additional combustion generator (11) is used selectively which, together with the prismatic switchgear cabinet (12) and at least one consumer (7), is housed inside a cylindrical housing (15).
