Abstract: A method, a system and a memory chip for generating a verification value, which can eliminate the defect of time consuming and high power consumption of the existing memory chip for generating verification value, are provided according to the present disclosure. The method comprises the following steps: a frequently changing data relating to an imaging cartridge is acquired; an intermediate verification data pre-generated based on infrequently changing data is acquired; the frequently changing data and the intermediate verification data are calculated through a predetermined algorithm, and thus a verification value is obtained.
Abstract: An ink cartridge chip includes an interface unit, a control unit, and a storage unit, wherein the interface unit is configured to receive a light control command sent from an imaging device, and the light control command includes ink cartridge identification information; the storage unit is configured to store autogenic identification information and a state flag, and the state flag includes an executable state or a non-executable state; the control unit is configured to execute the light control command; and the control unit is is configured to, when the interface unit receives the light control command, control the light-emitting unit to execute the light control command based on the type of the light control command and the state flag in the storage unit to re-determined the state flag.

Abstract: An imaging device, an imaging cartridge, and a verification method are disclosed. The method comprises storing a first slave address of the imaging cartridge and configuring a first indexing rule in the imaging device. The method further comprises: an indexing step, including sending an indexing command to the imaging cartridge, generating a predicated address for the imaging cartridge based on the first indexing rule and the indexing command, and updating the first slave address of the imaging cartridge based on the predicated address; and a verification step, including judging whether a second slave address of the imaging cartridge is correct according to answer data sent by the imaging cartridge, or according to the answer data sent by the imaging cartridge as well as the first slave address of the imaging cartridge.
Abstract: A method for restoring an imaging cartridge chip, applicable in the technical field of imaging. In the process of restoring the imaging cartridge chip, a laser beam is used at least to unseal a location where a functional interface is on a storage device comprised in the imaging cartridge chip, or at least to scratch open or to drill open packaging material at the location where the functional interface is, then restore data is written into the storage device via the functional interface and a read/write interface. This results in the repair of the imaging cartridge chip.

The system includes a chip and an information input apparatus; the chip is adapted to store universal information, and alternative information sent by the information input apparatus; the information input apparatus is adapted to store and send to the chip the alternative information.
