Abstract: A lockable pill container is disclosed including a main body with a plurality of individual compartments for receiving pills. Each compartment has a lid member connected to the main body by a hinge permitting it to be moved between open and closed positions. Each lid member has a downwardly projecting hook member that projects through an opening in the main body when the lid is closed. An elongated locking member is laterally inserted into the main body and transversely moveable relative to the hook members between first and second positions. In the first position, the elongated locking member engages the hook members of those lid members that are closed to lock them in the closed position. In the second position, the elongated locking member does not engage the hook members which may be opened and closed without the locking function. The elongated locking member is normally biased into the locking position by a transverse member that includes a downwardly projecting, externally accessible transverse member.
Abstract: An improved dosage container is disclosed which includes a tubular container having an open end with a spoon member integrally formed therewith and projecting axially therefrom. A sealing cap consists of concentric external and interanl tubular members spaced apart to define a recess that is sized and configured to receive spoon member. The external member of the sealing cap threads onto the container, and the internal member of the sealing cap includes O-rings that engage the tubular container to seal both the spoon and the liquid contents. A pill container is integrally formed at the base of the tubular container to receive pills, tablets, capsules or the like.
Abstract: A medication organizing apparatus comprises a timer module (11) and medication containers (12, 13, 14). The timer module (1) and medication containers (12, 13, 14) include dovetail flanges (31) and dovetail grooves (30) for interconnection thereof. The timer module (11) further includes a time interval selecting means (21), indicator (160, 154), and timing means (210, 228, 234, 242, 222) for producing a signal indicating the end of the selected time interval on a recurring basis.
