Abstract: A modular rug system includes a plurality of rug elements spaced apart from and connected to one another via a plurality of elongated fasteners. Each fastener connects two neighboring rug elements to one another. Each fastener has a first elongated component extending under a pair of neighboring rug elements, a second component disposed on a top surface of one of the pair of neighboring rug elements, and a third component disposed on a top surface of the other of the pair of rug elements. The top surfaces of neighboring rug elements are respectively recessed at defined locations in order to receive the second and third components of the fastener therein.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to devices and methods for neutralizing an acidic anesthesia solution. An anesthesia neutralization device includes an outer housing and an inner housing. The inner housing holds a buffer carpule and an anesthetic carpule in a side by side arrangement, with the buffer solution maintained under pressure prior to deployment. A curved transfer needle is coupled to the outer housing and includes ends that both point respectively toward the buffer carpule and anesthetic carpule. The device is actuated by moving the inner housing relative to the outer housing to bring the anesthesia carpule and buffer carpule into contact with the transfer needle and to force buffer solution through the transfer needle and into the anesthesia carpule.

Abstract: A relatively small fire apparatus vehicle, which may have a single rear axle, is provided that includes a high-flow articulated water tower that delivers water at a rate of up to 1500 GPM (gallons per minute). The high-flow articulated water tower includes a water splitter that divides a water flow from a pump system into a pair of water flow path segments delivered through a pair of lower tower arm water pipes. The water flow path segments may be recombined in a water stem knuckle at a joint between the lower tower arm and an upper tower arm of the articulated water tower that is delivered as a combined flow through an upper tower arm water pipe and out a delivery nozzle.

Abstract: A relatively small fire apparatus vehicle, which may have a single rear axle, is provided that includes a high-flow articulated water tower that delivers water at a rate of up to 1500 GPM (gallons per minute). The fire apparatus vehicle may include a turret support arrangement with a torque box that is supported from the vehicle chassis and that supports a turret at its turret base. A pair of outriggers is connected to at least two of the vehicle chassis, the torque box, and the turret base through a pair of outrigger mounts on opposite sides of the vehicle chassis.
