  • Patent number: 11593797
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to authentication using public key encryption. In one embodiment, a computing device includes a secure circuit, a processor, and memory. The secure circuit is configured to generate a public key pair usable to authenticate a user of the computing device. The memory has program instructions stored therein that are executable by the processor to cause the computing device to perform operations including authenticating the user with a server system by sending authentication information supplied by the user. The operations further include, in response to the server system verifying the authentication information, receiving a first token usable to register the public key pair with the server system and sending, to the server system, a request to register the public key pair for authenticating the user. In such an embodiment, the request includes the first token and identifies a public key of the public key pair.

  • Patent number: 11595995
Abstract: Systems and methods of providing RAT co-existence and congestion control in V2V communications are generally described. A vUE detects specific non-LTE RAT transmissions in a listening period of a PSCCH or PSSCH, determines whether a metric has been met and reselects to a non-overloaded channel to communicate with other vUEs or the eNB. The manner of reselection is dependent on the RAT specific or V2X service priorities of the channels, as well as whether the channels are V2V service dependent.

  • Patent number: 11593175
Abstract: In general, embodiments are disclosed herein for tracking and allocating graphics hardware resources. In one embodiment, a software and/or firmware process constructs a cross-application command queue utilization table based on one or more specified command queue quality of service (QoS) settings, in order to track the target and current utilization rates of each command queue on the graphics hardware over a given frame and to load work onto the graphics hardware in accordance with the utilization table. Based on the constructed utilization table for a given frame, any command queues that have exceed their respective target utilization value may be moved to an “inactive” status for the duration of the current frame. For any command queues that remain in an “active” status for the current frame, work from those command queues may be loaded on to slots of the appropriate data masters of the graphics hardware in any desired order.

  • Patent number: 11592889
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of systems-on-a-chip (SoCs), connected by a network. The plurality of SoCs and the network are configured to operate as a single logical computing system. The plurality of SoCs may be configured to exchange local power information indicative of network activity occurring on their respective portions of the network. A given one of the plurality of SoCs may be configured to determine that a local condition for placing the respective portion of the network corresponding to the given SoC into a reduced power mode has been satisfied. The given SoC may be further configured to place the respective portion of the network into the reduced power mode in response to determining that a global condition for the reduced power mode is satisfied. The global condition may be assessed based upon current local power information for remaining ones of the plurality of SoCs.

  • Patent number: 11593106
Abstract: Vector sort circuits that can be used to accelerate sorting operations in a vector processor. When a new data element is received, the vector sort circuit can read multiple existing data elements from a vector-sort database in parallel, compare metrics of the existing data elements to a metric of the new data element, and output updated data elements to the vector-sort database based on the metrics. Depending on implementation, the vector-sort database can be maintained in sorted order, or the data elements can have assigned ranks indicating the sort order and the elements need not be stored in sorted order. A vector sort circuit can be incorporated into a vector sort functional unit of a microprocessor, and the instruction set of the microprocessor can include instructions that are executed by the vector sort functional unit using the vector sort circuit.
