  • Patent number: 11490155
Abstract: Control techniques are disclosed for devices that are members of ad hoc rendering networks. A first network device may receive a data record representing state of the network. The data record may contain data identifying device(s) that are members of the network, any grouping(s) of the device(s) defined for the network, and a play state of the device(s). When the first network device receives the data record, it may store the data record locally at the first player device. The first player device may determine whether the data record possesses a command altering a play state of a device. If so and if the command is addressed to the first player device, the first player device may execute the command at the first player device. The data record may be relayed among all devices in the ad hoc rendering network, and each device may perform this same process. In this manner, state updates propagate to all devices that are members of the rendering network, and all such devices store state data of all other devices.

  • Patent number: 11490160
Abstract: In some implementations, a first device can record a display screen of a second device remotely. For example, the first device (e.g., a remote computing device) can receive information identifying other computing devices on a network. The first device can receive a selection of one of the other computing devices (e.g., the second device) and send a message to the second device to initiate a recording of the display screen of the second device. In response to receiving the message, the second device can record video frames of images presented on the display of the second device. The second device can send the video frames to the first device for display and/or storage. While recording the images presented on the display screen, the second device can present indicia on the display screen of the second device indicating that a screen recording is in progress.

  • Patent number: 11487402
Abstract: An electronic device having a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays, in a user interface, image(s) from a media item corresponding to a sequence of images in a display mode. In response to an input, the device displays an editing user interface that changes which images are included in the media item when the media item is displayed in the display mode, including concurrently displaying: an area display images in the sequence of images; another distinct area including representations of images in the sequence of images, a user-adjustable begin-trim affordance indicating a first boundary for playback through the sequence of images, and a user-adjustable end-trim affordance indicating a second boundary for playback through the sequence of images. The device further adjusts the media item, exits the editing user interface in response to an input, and displays the edited media item in the display mode in the user interface.

  • Patent number: 11489533
Abstract: An apparatus includes a power converter circuit configured to generate a voltage level on a regulated power supply node using a clock signal, and a clock generation circuit configured to dither a frequency of the clock signal. To transition from a first frequency to a second frequency, the clock generation circuit is configured to change, during an initial transition period, the clock signal between the first and second frequencies such that a particular percentage of clock pulses have the second frequency. During one or more intermediate transition periods, the clock generation circuit is configured to change the clock signal between the first and second frequencies such that a percentage of clock pulses having the second frequency increases relative to a prior transition period. During a final transition period of the series, the clock generation circuit is configured to set the frequency of the clock signal to the second frequency.

  • Patent number: 11488538
Abstract: A display is provided that includes an array of display pixels that receive data signals from display driver circuitry and that receive control signals from gate driver circuitry. The gate driver circuitry may include a chain of row driver circuits. Each row driver circuit may include a scan driver circuit and a scan inverter circuit. An enable transistor may be interposed between the scan driver circuit and the scan inverter circuit and may be selectively disabled to decouple the scan inverter circuit from the scan driver circuit to allow the scan inverter circuit to operate independent from the scan driver circuit. The scan inverter circuit may include a transistor that receives a scan pulse signal from the scan driver circuit and may further include additional transistors connected in a negative feedback configuration to reduce a drain-to-source voltage across the transistor to reduce leakage across the transistor during blanking times.

  • Patent number: 11490302
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to improve candidate search and measurement in non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) 5G new radio (NR) multi-radio access technology (RAT) environments. For Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) NR-dual connectivity (EN-DC), a user equipment (UE) skips 5G band measurements for an initial search or an out-of-service (OOS) search. For SA dual connectivity, the UE avoids 5G remaining band (RBS) scans and limits 5G deviated band search (DBS) scans to bands configured for the carrier.

  • Publication number: 20220343597
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a mapping application that has a novel way of displaying traffic congestion along roads in the map. The mapping application in some embodiments defines a traffic congestion representation to run parallel to its corresponding road portion when the map is viewed at a particular zoom level, and defines a traffic congestion representation to be placed over its corresponding road portion when the map is viewed at another zoom level. The mapping application in some embodiments differentiates the appearance of the traffic congestion representation that signifies heavy traffic congestion from the appearance of the traffic congestion representation that signifies moderate traffic congestion. In some of these embodiments, the mapping application does not generate a traffic congestion representation for areas along a road that are not congested.

  • Patent number: 11481096
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to systems, methods, and computer readable medium for mapping particular user interactions, e.g., gestures, to the input parameters of various image processing routines, e.g., image filters, in a way that provides a seamless, dynamic, and intuitive experience for both the user and the software developer. Such techniques may handle the processing of both “relative” gestures, i.e., those gestures having values dependent on how much an input to the device has changed relative to a previous value of the input, and “absolute” gestures, i.e., those gestures having values dependent only on the instant value of the input to the device. Additionally, inputs to the device beyond user-input gestures may be utilized as input parameters to one or more image processing routines. For example, the device's orientation, acceleration, and/or position in three-dimensional space may be used as inputs to particular image processing routines.
