  • Patent number: 11371644
Abstract: A display stand has two spaced apart legs connected by a horizontal support bar that is attachable to multiple displays. Carriage assemblies allow the stand to adjust the vertical position of the displays, shuttles and rails allow the stand to adjust the horizontal positions of the displays, and a central joint on the support bar allows the stand to adjust the angle between the displays. The carriage assemblies can convert rotational movement of adjustment handles into vertical movement of the support bar that is synchronized at both legs whether the support bar is in a straight or angled configuration. Wheels on the shuttles can provide smooth, consistent contact with rails in the support bar despite changes in the nominal dimensions of the rails. The display stand provides improved smoothness, rigidity, and comfort for the user to support and use multiple displays on a single stand.

  • Patent number: 11374901
Abstract: The subject technology provides an in-place encoding of a network identifier that compresses the network identifier without mapping the network identifier to a another server or service, such as URL shortening service. The network identifier may be compressed using segmented encoding operations that segment the network identifier, and encode the characters of the network identifier using a first set of encoding operations for a first portion of the network identifier and a second set of encoding operations for a second portion of the network identifier. Template encoding may also be provided for network identifiers that conform to a predefined template format.

  • Patent number: 11372621
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to floating-point circuitry configured to perform a corner check instruction for a floating-point power operation. In some embodiments, the power operation is performed by executing multiple instructions, including one or more instructions specify to generate an initial power result of a first input raised to the power of a second input as 2(second input*log2(first input)). In some embodiments, the corner check instruction operates on the first and second inputs and outputs output a corrected power result based on detection of a corner condition for the first and second inputs. Corner check circuitry may share circuits with other datapaths. In various embodiments, the disclosed techniques may reduce code size and power consumption for the power operation.

  • Patent number: 11372696
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to, among other things, generating reminders based on information from applications. For example, a first message may be received and a confirmation may be identified. Information that identifies an action to be performed and a trigger corresponding to the action can be detected from the first message and/or the confirmation. In some instances, a reminder may be generated based at least in part on the action and the trigger. An even corresponding to the trigger may then be detected, and the generated reminder may be presented based at least in part on the detection of the trigger.

  • Patent number: 11375558
Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate acknowledgment and/or re-ordering of LWIPEP (LWIP (LTE (Long Term Evolution)/WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) Radio Level Integration Using IPSec (Internet Protocol Security) Tunnel) Encapsulation Protocol) packets. In various aspects employing a LWIP acknowledgment mode, LWIPEP packets can comprise an enhanced GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) header comprising a SN (Sequence Number) of the payload of that LWIPEP packet, which can facilitate acknowledgment of LWIPEP packets and re-ordering of LWIPEP packets (e.g., communicated over a WLAN link, an LTE link, or both) based on the SN(s) indicated in the enhanced GRE header(s).

  • Patent number: 11375345
Abstract: A service for providing messaging extension apps can be an online store that can be browsed and searched for the apps. The store uses extension app identifiers which are related to app identifiers that are sent between devices in a conversation of messages so that a receiving device can, when it does not have the extension app installed to interact with received content, use the extension app identifier to download and install the required extension app. In one embodiment, the download and install can occur while the messaging app remains the foreground app, and the messaging app adds an icon of the newly installed extension app into a browsable tray in the UI of the messaging app.

  • Patent number: 11374937
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to user authentication. In some embodiments, a first computing device receives, from a second computing device, a request for a user credential to be input into an authentication prompt associated with the second device. The first computing device determines a proximity associated with the second computing device based on a received wireless location beacon and, based on the request and the determined proximity, presents a selection prompt asking a user of the first computing device to select a user credential stored in the first computing device. The first computing device then provides the selected user credential to the second computing device to input into the authentication prompt. In some embodiments, the first computing device receives the wireless location beacon from a remote controller of the second computing device and determines a proximity based on a signal strength associated with the received location beacon.

  • Patent number: 11374967
Abstract: A system and method for detecting replay attacks on secure data are disclosed. A system on a chip (SOC) includes a security processor. Blocks of data corresponding to sensitive information are stored in off-chip memory. The security processor uses an integrity data structure, such as an integrity tree, for the blocks. The intermediate nodes of the integrity tree use nonces which have been generated independent of any value within a corresponding block. By using only the nonces to generate tags in the root at the top layer stored in on-chip memory and the nodes of the intermediate layers stored in off-chip memory, an amount of storage used is reduced for supporting the integrity tree. When the security processor detects events which create access requests for one or more blocks, the security processor uses the integrity tree to verify a replay attack has not occurred and corrupted data.
