  • Patent number: 12284508
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that display visual content as part of a 3D environment and add audio corresponding to the visual content. The audio may be spatialized to be from one or more audio source locations within the 3D environment. For example, a video may be presented on a virtual surface within an extended reality (XR) environment while audio associated with the video is spatialized to sound as if it is produced from an audio source location corresponding to that virtual surface. How the audio is provided may be determined based on the position of the viewer (e.g., the user or his/her device) relative to the presented visual content.

  • Patent number: 12284703
Abstract: This application describes methods and apparatus to manage data transport across multiple radio links for 5G-capable wireless devices. Under certain criteria, including performance of at least one radio link, a mobility state of a 5G-capable wireless device, and data transport requirements for a latency sensitive application session, the 5G-capable wireless device sends buffer status report (BSR) requests for one or more both of the radio links to prioritize and transition uplink (UL) data between radio links before a measurement reporting threshold is met. In some embodiments, the 5G-capable wireless device proactively sends BSR requests for radio resources before the UL data is generated by the latency sensitive application session. In some embodiments, the 5G-capable wireless device duplicates UL data for the latency sensitive application session across multiple radio links.

  • Patent number: 12283442
Abstract: Keyboards and other electronic input devices have a key or keys with glyphs that are invisible to an unaided human eye in a first condition, such as when an underlying display attached to the key is not emitting light. The glyphs are visible through the key or keys when the display emits light. A one-way visibility layer or structure obscures the visibility of the display when viewed from above, but when the display emits light, the light penetrates through the one-way visibility layer, such as by passing through an array of microperforations in the key, and is visible to an onlooker.

  • Patent number: 12283020
Abstract: Generating a three-dimensional virtual representation of a three-dimensional physical object can be based on capturing or receiving a capture bundle or a set of images. In some examples, generating the virtual representation of the physical object can be facilitated by user interfaces for identifying a physical object and capturing a set of images of the physical object. Generating the virtual representation can include previewing or modifying a set of images. In some examples, generating the virtual representation of the physical object can include generating a first representation of the physical object (e.g., a point cloud) and/or generating a second three-dimensional virtual representation of the physical object (e.g., a mesh reconstruction). In some examples, a visual indication of the progress of the image capture process and/or the generation of the virtual representation of the three-dimensional object can be displayed, such as in a capture user interface.

  • Patent number: 12282838
Abstract: Embodiments relate to managing tasks that when executed by a neural processor circuit instantiates a neural network. The neural processor circuit includes neural engine circuits and a neural task manager circuit. The neural task manager circuit includes multiple task queues and a task arbiter circuit. Each task queue stores a reference to a task list of tasks for a machine learning operation. Each task queue may be associated with a priority parameter. Based on the priority of the task queues, the task arbiter circuit retrieves configuration data for a task from a memory external to the neural processor circuit, and provides the configuration data to components of the neural processor circuit including the neural engine circuits. The configuration data programs the neural processor circuit to execute the task. For example, the configuration data may include input data and kernel data processed by the neural engine circuits to execute the task.
