Abstract: A multi-step animation sequence for smoothly transitioning from a map view to a panorama view of a specified location is disclosed. An orientation overlay can be displayed on the panorama, showing a direction and angular extent of the field of view of the panorama. An initial specified location and a current location of the panorama can also be displayed on the orientation overlay. A navigable placeholder panorama to be displayed in place of a panorama at the specified location when panorama data is not available is disclosed. A perspective view of a street name annotation can be laid on the surface of a street in the panorama.

Abstract: An electronic device may have a display and a gaze tracking system. The electronic device may display images on the display that have a higher resolution in a portion of the display that overlaps a gaze location than other portions of the display. Timing controller circuitry and column driver circuitry may include interpolation and filter circuitry. The interpolation and filter circuitry may be used to perform nearest neighbor interpolation and two-dimensional spatial filtering on low resolution image data. Display driver circuitry may be configured to load higher resolution data into selected portions of a display. The display driver circuitry may include low and high resolution image data buffers and configurable row driver circuitry. Block enable transistors may be included in a display to allow selected blocks of pixels to be loaded with high resolution image data.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a server generating a plurality of proxy prediction models for each of a plurality of applications for use by client devices. Providing a prediction model based on a data distribution that more closely matches the user private data of the actual user of the client device, as opposed to a generic model, can improve the accuracy of predictions and improve the benefits to the user of the client device. The plurality of prediction models are generated by a server and provided to a plurality of clients. For a particular application, a client device can use previously collected private user data to select one of the plurality of prediction models for the application as being a closest matching prediction model to use for a particular user.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for synchronizing the switching of different wireless platforms to different portions of a frequency band. An embodiment, at a first wireless platform, operates by receiving a band switch request message from a second wireless platform, wherein the band switch request message comprises a band switch delay period for the second wireless platform. The embodiment calculates a band switch time based on a band switch delay period for the first wireless platform and the band switch delay period for the second wireless platform. The embodiment transmits a band switch accept message comprising the band switch time to the second wireless platform. The embodiment sets a first filter to operate on a second portion of the frequency band based on the band switch time. The embodiment then operates on the second portion of the frequency band.

Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment (UE) device to adaptively enhance the quality of service (QoS) configuration of a bearer of communications conducted over a cellular network between a UE application and a server. The UE may use various information, including a QoS profile associated with the application, to determine requested QoS parameters and/or whether the UE is permitted to request or access enhanced QoS functionality. The UE may then send a request to the cellular network indicating the requested QoS parameters, and the network may adjust the QoS configuration of the bearer in response. The UE and the network may perform routine QoS measurements and exchange information in order to adaptively maintain and optimize the QoS configuration. These techniques may tend to provide more appropriate QoS to the application, which may improve user experience.

Abstract: A wearable device can establish a verified session with a host device (e.g., by establishing that the wearable device is present in the vicinity of the host device and is currently being worn). The existence of such a verified session can be used to control user access to sensitive information that may be stored in or otherwise accessible to a host device. For example, the host device and/or application programs executing thereon can be configured to restrict a user's ability to invoke program functionality that accesses sensitive information based on whether a verified session with a wearable device is currently in progress.
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to cycle tracking. A notification for a respective recurrence of the recurring event is displayed. Representations of days are displayed with affordances for initiating processes for recording information corresponding to various days.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for detecting and correcting for lens tilt in cameras. The common mode signal may be derived from autofocus position (AP) sensors and used as a measure of the autofocus position of the lens on the Z axis. The differential mode signal may also be derived from the AP sensor signals. The differential mode signal may indicate that the lens is or is not tilted, and if tilted may indicate the direction and magnitude of the tilt. The differential mode signal may be used to apply a tilt correction transform to image data based on the strength and direction of the signal. The differential mode signal may also be used to translate the lens on an axis orthogonal to the Z axis to partially correct for lens tilt to align the image plane with the photosensor.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for coordinated control between multiple devices of playback of a media track or playlist. The multiple devices may form an ad-hoc network for sharing control of media. A control device may coordinate control of the playlist and facilitate playback of the media at a playback device. Then when the control device leaves the group, a second device in the group will seamlessly become the control device and control playback and playlist coordination. The playback device may also be the control device. The playback advice may be a network-enabled speaker. Where the playback device is separate from the control device, the playback device may maintain sufficient information to operate without a control device until a new control device is selected.

Abstract: A device includes a semiconductor chip, and a semiconductor chip package in which the semiconductor chip is packaged. The semiconductor chip has a first major surface opposite a second major surface, and a set of four edges extending between the first major surface and the second major surface. The semiconductor chip package includes at least first and second electrodes exposed to an exterior of the semiconductor chip package and positioned apart from the semiconductor chip. The at least first and second electrodes overlap only one edge of the semiconductor chip. The semiconductor chip package also includes a filler that is molded between the semiconductor chip and each of the at least first and second electrodes.
Abstract: Devices, methods and graphical user interfaces for manipulating user interfaces based on fingerprint sensor inputs are provided. While a display of an electronic device with a fingerprint sensor displays a first user interface, the device may detect movement of a fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor. In accordance with a determination that the movement of the fingerprint is in a first direction, the device allows navigating through the first user interface, and in accordance with a determination that the movement of the fingerprint is in a second direction different from the first direction, the device allows displaying a second user interface different from the first user interface on the display.

Abstract: Connector receptacles that may be space efficient and provide a direct connection to a flexible circuit board. One example may provide an electronic device having a receptacle including a recess formed in a housing of the electronic device. The recess may have a sidewall and a bottom surface portion, and the bottom surface portion may include one or more openings extending through the bottom surface portion from an external surface to an internal surface. One or more contacts formed on a flexible circuit board may be aligned with the one or more openings in the bottom surface portion. In this way, the receptacle may be space efficient and provide a direct connection to a flexible circuit board inside an electronic device. A cosmetic cap may be placed in the recess to obscure the existence of the connector receptacle.
