    Abstract: The hyper-local broadcasting system may include a global positioning system (“GPS”) embedded in a user's media device, such as a smartphone or tablet. The hyper-local broadcasting system allows a person to create a localized hotspot and to specify the information that is pushed to users who enter the hotspot in a hyper-localized manner. Such information may be, for example, ads, coupons, music, video, literature, and other information that may be particularly relevant to the hotspot.
