Abstract: A child seat includes: a base member; a seat body switchable at least between a forward facing state and a sideways facing state in a bed shape on the base member; a prop or strut member attached to a front end of the base member and extending to a position where the prop member abuts on a floor of an automobile; and a rigid bar-shaped support member supported by the prop member so as to be displaceable between an upper position and a lower position. A side engagement portion is provided in a side surface of the seat body. The side engagement portion engages with the support member when the support member is brought to the upper position in the sideways facing state in the bed shape.

Abstract: A seat structure includes: a seat main body; a seating surface element attached to the seat main body, and extending in a longitudinal direction; a back element connected to a rear end of the seating surface element in a reclinable manner, and extending in a vertical direction; an upper end flap connected to an upper end of the back element in a forward tiltable manner; a displacement member supported on the back element in a vertically displaceable manner; and a first connection element connecting the displacement member and the upper end flap so as to tilt the upper end flap forward according to displacement of the displacement member.

Abstract: A crotch belt (20) which is one component of a body restraint belt includes an elastic plate (21) having bending elasticity, and a buckle (22) mounted on an end of the elastic plate (21). One end of the elastic plate (21) is fixed to a fixing point (23) under a seating surface (4). While the crotch belt (20) is not connected to a waist belt, the crotch belt (20) is positioned along a front part of the seating surface (4) so as to be close to it by elastic force of the elastic plate (21).
