  • Patent number: 11179739
Abstract: A discharge head for a liquid dispenser having a base, an actuation handle, a liquid inlet and a discharge opening. The discharge head has a pump mechanism which conveys liquid from a liquid store to the discharge opening. To control liquid to be discharged and/or inflowing air, the discharge head has a valve with a valve flap which closes a valve channel and transfers to an open position by a positive pressure that exceeds a threshold positive pressure. The discharge head has an effector element bearing on the handle and the base, which deforms when the handle is pressed down. The valve flap is designed and attached to the effector element such that the deformation of same acts on the valve flap so that the threshold positive pressure, beyond which the valve flap leaves its closed position, is at least 10% lower in an actuated end position than in a non-actuated end position.

  • Patent number: 11109659
Abstract: A discharge head for a liquid dispenser for discharging cosmetic products which has a base to be secured to a liquid storage. The base has a coupling device in the form of a thread or a latching coupling device, for coupling to the liquid storage. The discharge head has a sponge carrier with a sponge receptacle in which a sponge is arranged. The sponge carrier is movable in a translationally guided manner with respect to the base and has a hollow connector inside which a liquid channel is provided that connects the liquid storage to the sponge receptacle. This liquid channel is provided with an outlet valve, which is opened by moving the sponge carrier in the direction of the base, such that liquid can flow freely out of the liquid storage into the sponge receptacle.

  • Patent number: 11077993
Abstract: A discharge head having a housing, a coupling device for attachment to a liquid store, a discharge opening and an outlet channel extending from an inlet region up to the discharge opening and by which the discharge opening is supplied with liquid. For throttling the liquid to be discharged, the discharge head has a throttle device with a throttle channel for reduction in the liquid pressure and/or the liquid flow through the throttle device. The throttle device is switchable between throttling and release states, and a minimum free cross section of the throttle channel is varied to subject liquid flowing in the direction of the discharge opening to a high throttling effect in the throttling state and liquid flowing in the direction of the inlet region is subjected to a low throttling effect in the release state.

  • Patent number: 11066218
Abstract: Discharge head for a liquid dispenser including a housing, a coupling device for attachment to a liquid store, a discharge opening through which liquid is dispensed and an outlet channel extending from an inlet region, pointing in the direction of the liquid store, up to the discharge opening and via which the discharge opening is supplied with liquid. A throttle device is arranged in the outlet channel and includes a throttle channel for reducing liquid pressure and/or liquid flow through the throttle device. The throttle device is designed in the form of a dynamic throttle device, in which a free cross section of the throttle channel is reduced in size with increasing pressure prevailing at the throttle device, or with greater liquid flow flowing through the throttle device.

  • Patent number: 11065397
Abstract: An inhalation device including a housing, which encloses a liquid reservoir in which the liquid is stored before discharge, and an applicator head with a nebulization chamber and an applicator piece connected thereto, wherein the applicator piece is designed either as a mouthpiece, to be received in the mouth of a patient, or as an inhalation mask, to sealingly cover the mouth, the nose, or the mouth and the nose. The inhalation device furthermore has a discharge channel which connects the liquid reservoir to the applicator head. The inhalation device includes at the end of the discharge channel a nozzle plate with a large number of nozzle openings which serve to generate an inhalation mist and through which the liquid from the liquid reservoir is conveyed into the nebulization chamber.

  • Patent number: 11059639
Abstract: A protective cap for a dispenser for discharging pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic liquids. The dispenser has a liquid reservoir and a discharge opening through which the liquid can be dispensed into a surrounding atmosphere. The protective cap has at least one ventilation opening for establishing communication between an interior and an outer surrounding area, and a sterile filter which covers the at least one ventilation opening is arranged on the protective cap in order to reduce or prevent an introduction of microbes into the interior of the protective cap via the at least one ventilation opening.

  • Patent number: 11052203
Abstract: A pharmaceutical dispenser with a housing, a medium reservoir, a discharge opening, connection channel connecting the medium reservoir to the discharge opening, and a detection device arranged in the area of the connection channel and designed to detect medium flowing therein. The connection channel is connected to and communicates with a pressure chamber, the detection device includes a membrane which delimits the pressure chamber, and includes an electrically conductive connection portion and is subjected to pressure. The detection device has an electrical mating contact surface in relation to which a membrane-side connection portion is movable when subjected to pressure, such that an electrical contact between the conductive connection portion and the mating contact surface is established or cancelled.

  • Patent number: 11046503
Abstract: Dispensers having a liquid reservoir filled with a main liquid and having a dispensing head, with a dispensing opening and a dispensing channel, which connects the reservoir outlet to the dispensing opening. The dispensing head can be pressed down to actuate the switching valve or the conveying device. The liquid dispenser has a replaceable exchange unit, which, in a functional state, forms the dispensing channel at least in some sections. The exchange unit has a mixing chamber, with an addition medium and an inlet and an outlet separated from the inlet. The exchange unit is part of the dispensing channel such that the inlet is communicatively connected to the reservoir outlet and the outlet is communicatively connected to the dispensing opening. Furthermore, the exchange unit has closures at the inlet and at the outlet to close the mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 10946401
Abstract: A discharge head for discharging liquid as an atomized spray jet and as a non-atomized liquid stream or as individual droplets. The discharge head fastening fastens to a base unit and has a liquid outlet through which liquid is discharged from a reservoir into the atmosphere, and a liquid inlet through which liquid is conducted out of the reservoir to the liquid outlet. An internal part is arranged inside an outlet channel, and a spray opening is provided on the internal part. The internal part and the outlet channel are relatively displaceable so that in a first position a bypass duct is produced between an internal wall of the outlet channel and an outer face of the internal part, the flow resistance thereof being lower than the spray duct, and in a second position is partially closed wherein the flow resistance of the bypass duct is greater than the spray duct.
