Abstract: The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising an extract from Inonotus obliquus (Chaga) and in particular to a cosmetic composition comprising: (i) a chaga extract at a concentration of at least about 2.5 mg/ml; and (ii) one or more physiologically or pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and/or diluents, wherein the chaga extract comprises at least about 1% (w/w) of ?-glucans and/or at least about 0.10% (w/w) of polyphenolics.
