Abstract: A recreational flotation device comprising an outer buoyant body member having a support member located in an inner area in the form of a panel of material attached to the buoyant body member and extending across the inner area. Connectors provided on the buoyant body member are adapted to mate with connectors on the support member whereby the user may choose among several possible shapes for the support member by appropriately mating the connector on the buoyant body member with selected connectors on the support member.

The body member has a front portion and a back portion affixed together to form a neck opening and a shoulder portion one each side of the neck opening A buoyant collar member may be removably attached to the shoulder portions and may be selectively positioned at the front portion of the vest to support the wearer's chin, or at the back portion of the vest to provide support to the user's neck, when the user is in water.

Abstract: A floating lounge comprising an outer, buoyant member surrounding a support member in the form of a panel of material extending forward from the rear of the lounge. The support member wraps around the front end of the lounge and extends back toward the rear of the lounge. Connectors provided on the longitudinal edges of the support member allow the forward-extending portion of the support member to be secured to the rearward-extending portion to form a sling depending between the front and rear sides of the lounge, for supporting the user, and whereby the user may choose among several possible shapes for the support member by appropriately mating the sets of connectors.
