Abstract: A flexible bag having one or more side surfaces and a bottom surface that includes a sump region formed by one or more side sump surfaces and a bottom sump surface. A first connecting port is disposed in the bottom sump surface. A second connecting port is disposed in a side sump surface. The first connecting port is connected to a first pump having one or more outlets while the second connecting port is connected to a second pump having one or more outlets. The flexible bag includes a plurality of fluid ports. One or more of the outlets of the first and/or second pump are connected to conduit/tubing that connect to one or more of the fluid ports. Fluid in the flexible bag can then be recirculated back into the flexible bag for mixing and/or agitation in addition to being pumped to downstream processes.
Abstract: A single use heat exchanger device includes an outer bag formed from a flexible polymer film and defining an interior compartment, the outer bag having a first port and a second port disposed therein to provide fluid access to and from the interior compartment. An inner bag is formed from a flexible polymer film and defines an interior flow path between a third port and a fourth port, the third port and the fourth port extending through the outer bag and provide fluid access to and from the interior flow path. In other embodiments, a flexible bag or container incorporates heat exchanger flow path(s) into one or more surfaces. In another embodiment, a container or vessel incorporates heat exchange flow path around a cylindrical surface formed by an inner jacket and outer jacket.

Abstract: A single-use fluid container includes a flexible bag having a bottom surface and one or more side surfaces. A port or aperture is formed in the bottom surface of the flexible bag that serves as an inlet port to a multi-outlet pump that is fluidically coupled to the flexible bag. The flexible bag includes one or more return ports disposed in one or more side surfaces and/or bottom surface of the flexible bag, the one or more return ports having a valve therein. One or more of the outlets of the pump are connected to conduit or tubing that also connect to one or more of the return ports. Fluid contained in the flexible bag can then be recirculated back into the flexible bag for mixing and/or agitation. Optional sparger ports may be provided for the addition of a sparging gas.
Abstract: An improved bonnet assembly for a weir type or radial style valve, comprising a hollow bonnet housing an actuator assembly comprising an actuator connected to a spindle, the hollow bonnet having a plurality of orifices to allow free entry and exit of a liquid such as a cleaning solution within the bonnet and to enable the liquid to thoroughly contact and exit the bonnet assembly without the need of disassembly. The valve or parts of the valve such as the bonnet assembly or its components are made of performance engineered polymeric material to prevent corrosion and/or galling, and also reduce the weight and sometimes the cost of the valve without sacrificing quality and performance.
