Abstract: An electrical battery pole or terminal (50) is cold-produced by means of a process comprising axial compression at room temperature of an essentially cylindrical metal element (42) between a first and a second portion of die (1) and (2), travelling one opposite to the other, of which the first (1) forms that part which will be the protruding part (13) of the battery pole or terminal and the second (2) portion of die, by subjecting the lower part of the metal block to compression, forms the electrical battery pole's lower part, which is provided with shaped portions (35) forming a number of ribs.
