Patents Assigned to ARA-Werk Kramer GmbH
  • Patent number: 6090904
Abstract: Compositions and methods of making them are described and claimed which comprise a polymeric material having not less than two groups bonded to silicon which are hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups, a silane cross-linking agent having at least two oximo groups which are reactive with said polymeric material in presence of moisture to release an oxime condensation by-product and a component effective to control emission of volatile oxime compounds from the composition as it cures. The component effective to control emission of volatile oxime compounds from the composition as it cures is preferably an organic isocyanate having at least one isocyanate group and is preferably present in a stoichiometric ratio with the proportion of condensation by-product to be evolved. The polymeric material is preferably according to the general formula X-A-X where A represents a polyoxyalkylene chain or a polydiorganosiloxane chain and X represents a hydroxyl or hydrolysable group selected form --R".sub.2 SiCH, --R"Si(OR.sup.5).

  • Patent number: 5370271
Abstract: Discharge apparatus for pasty materials particularly in the form of a sealing gun and which is constructed as a quick change system. A replaceable fitting of an integrated, air-tight sealable cylinder unit to a feed means is provided and which can be constructed as a manually or pneumatically operated feed device. As a result of a releasable quick connection, it is possible to rapidly change cylinder units with different sealing compounds or colours for the following operation. The pasty materials in the air-tight sealed cylinder unit can be stored and transported over a longer period in the ready-to-use state.

  • Patent number: 5025959
Abstract: An apparatus for discharging pasty materials, particularly sealing materials, has a cylinder for receiving the materials and an opening for the discharge thereof, a plunger axially displaceable in the reception cylinder by means of a flowable pressure medium, a device for supplying the pressure medium in a pressure cylinder and having a valve and a device for relieving the pressure in the pressure cylinder and having a valve. The pressure cylinder is filled with a liquid serving as the pressure medium and the pressure medium supply device and the pressure relief device are located in the liquid line. The liquid serving as the pressure medium can in particular be an oil. For producing the liquid or hydrostatic pressure the apparatus can have a pressure pump, such as e.g. a hydrostatic pressure pump, which is preferably spatially separated from the discharging apparatus and is connected to the latter by means of a hydrostatic pressure line.

  • Patent number: 4840293
Abstract: An apparatus for discharging a bead or strand of pasty material from a deformable tubular container such as a tubular bag has a bag-loadable cylinder with a front face pointing in a discharge direction, the front face having a central opening aligned with a nozzle connection of the tubular bag. A substantially piston-like pressure member is axially displaceable against the tubular bag in the cylinder. In order to avoid drooling and dribbling of material through the nozzle after interruption of the discharge process, and also to prevent jamming of the edges of the tubular bag, the pressure member has a pressure relief spring supported on the wall of the cylinder and cooperating therewith, the spring having spring tongues directed obliquely forward around the deformable bag.
