Abstract: A flexible anti-nail protective footwear, which prevents injuries caused by pointed objects penetrating from below, comprises an upper part which is closed at its lower portion; a flexible outsole attached to the upper part; and a flexible anti-nail protective layer comprising a felted layer of polymer fibers, in which felted layer the polymer fibers are present in a non-woven condition. The flexible anti-nail protective layer is arranged in between the upper part and the flexible outsole or within the flexible outsole.
