Abstract: A system for processing calls based on call attributes includes a call screening processor arranged for receiving a call setup message for placing a call between an originating switch and a dialed number. The call setup message contains basic network information including at least the number dialed and information related to the originating switch. The call screening processor matches the basic network information with data in a database in response to receiving a call setup message. The data in the database identifies call attributes of the call setup message based on the data matched to basic network information. The identified call attributes comprise call attributes comprise at least one of trunk ID, member ID, and destination. The call screening processor then processes the call setup message in accordance with the call attributes by appending data to the call setup message or altering the call setup message.

Abstract: A system for trading media space includes a server node which receives requests for media space from buyers and offers of media space from sellers. The server node includes a set of rules for matching one of the requests and one of the offers to form a matched request and offer pair. A delivery system is connected to said server node for facilitating delivery of media content between the buyer and seller of the matched pair.

The service node then matches the offers and requests in accordance with one or more parameters specified in the offers and requests. A route table is generated based on the routes specified in the matched offers and requests and a switch node is configured based on the route table. Fees are computed based on the usage of the matched routes and the financial accounts of the at least one seller and at least one buyer based on the computed fees.

Abstract: A system for transmitting telecommunications traffic for one or more customers between packet-switched and circuit switched networks generates a routing table for routing the telecommunications traffic. The routing table includes one or more routes specified for each customer, each of the routes being identified with a customer identifier. The system associates identifying information of each packet-switched network with a customer identifier and receives from a packet-switched network telecommunications traffic including information identifying the packet-switched network. The system also identifies the customer identifier associated with the packet-switched network identifying information and selects by the network switch one of the plurality of circuit-switched networks for receiving the telecommunications traffic based on the routing table and the identified customer identifier.

Abstract: A method for managing transactions across a large number of service providers includes determining performance metrics associated with each of a plurality of service providers and generating a score for each service provider based on the performance metrics associated with each of the plurality of service providers taken over a short time period. The service providers are then sorted based on the scores to generate a list of service providers. Customer transactions are then assigned to one of the service providers based on the order of the list of service providers. The list of service providers is reprioritized based on mid-term metrics and accumulated costs taken over a mid-term period that is longer than the short term period.
