Generally, the body piercing jewelry of the present invention comprises a display member, which includes an attachment piece operably adjoined to one or more prongs, and a base member that is releasably securable to the display member. The base member is configured to be easily and painlessly inserted and removed from the pierced areas of the wearer's body.
