Publication number: 20080179873Abstract: An apparatus for protecting a layout of loose elements of a draft scrapbooking page includes a flat work surface dimensioned to receive thereon a scrapbooking page and an overlay. The overlay is magnetically cohered to the work surface when the overlay is placed over the work surface in covering disposition to a scrapbooking page, including scrapbooking elements loosely placed on such scrapbooking page, located between the overlay and the work surface. The improvement is characterized in that the apparatus includes, under the work surface, an array of magnets, and the overlay comprises a thin and pliable metallic rubber sheet, the overlay thereby cohering to the work surface due to magnetic force of attraction between the magnets of the array and the thin and pliable metallic rubber sheet. The array includes magnets arranged in a concentric elliptical pattern including, for example, a concentric circular pattern or a concentric non-circular pattern.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 26, 2007Publication date: July 31, 2008Applicant: ARCCIVO, LLCInventor: Ian D. Publication number: 20080122215Abstract: An apparatus for securely holding and protecting a layout of elements includes a portfolio having a first cover and a first overlay. The first overlay and the first cover are releasably cohered together, preferably utilizing magnetic forces. A loose arrangement of elements can be secured to a work surface of the first cover using the first overlay for safe storage and transport. The apparatus is used in rubber stamping design, stained-glass design, and quilting design.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2007Publication date: May 29, 2008Applicant: ARCCIVO, LLCInventors: Pam HESTER, Deborah H. MANCE, Ian D. KOVACEVICH, Mary LaValley, Daniel Lee BIZZELL, Tom PHILPOTT, Barry HESTER

Publication number: 20080001391Abstract: An apparatus for protecting a layout of loose elements of a draft scrapbooking page includes a flat work surface dimensioned to receive thereon a scrapbooking page and an overlay. The overlay is magnetically cohered to the work surface when the overlay is placed over the work surface in covering disposition to a scrapbooking page, including scrapbooking elements loosely placed on such scrapbooking page, located between the overlay and the work surface. The improvement is characterized in that the apparatus includes, under the work surface, an array or matrix of more than twenty magnets by which the overlay is cohered to the work surface as a result of magnetic force of attraction between the magnets of the array and the overlay. The array may magnets arranged in a rectangular pattern or in a concentric elliptical pattern including, for example, a concentric circular pattern or a concentric non-circular pattern.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2007Publication date: January 3, 2008Applicant: ARCCIVO, LLCInventor: Ian Kovacevich

Publication number: 20070182153Abstract: Securing an arrangement of loose elements on a scrapbooking page includes: positioning a scrapbooking page on top of a work surface; positioning loose elements of a scrapbooking page on top of the scrapbooking page; and magnetically securing the loose elements to the work surface with the scrapbooking page disposed therebetween such that the draft scrapbooking page may then be moved and stored with the work surface without disturbing the particular arrangement of the loose elements on the scrapbooking page. The work surface may include a generally rectangular shape and may be dimensioned such that it is slightly larger than a scrapbooking page. A loose element is secured to the work surface by a magnetic member that is positioned over the loose element. The particular arrangement of loose elements on the scrapbooking page are magnetically secured such that the particular arrangement is undisturbed by moving and storing of the work surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 25, 2007Publication date: August 9, 2007Applicant: Arccivo, LLCInventors: Pam Hester, Deborah Mance, Ian Kovacevich, Mary LaValley, Daniel Bizzell, Tom Philpott, Barry Hester

Publication number: 20070049477Abstract: An apparatus for securely holding and protecting a layout of elements for a page of a scrapbook includes a portfolio having first and second covers, each cover having a width and height each of which exceeds the width and height of a scrapbooking page; and a first overlay having a width and height each of which exceeds the width and height of a scrapbooking page. The first overlay and the first cover are releasably cohered together, preferably utilizing magnetic forces. A scrapbooking page and loose elements arranged thereof thereby may be secured between the overlay and the cover for safe storage and transport between scrapbooking sessions.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2006Publication date: March 1, 2007Applicants: BOUNCING BRAIN PRODUCTIONS SUBSIDIARY 1, LLC, Arccivo, LLCInventors: Pam Hester, Deborah Mance, Ian Kovacevich, Mary LaValley, Daniel Bizzell, Tom Philpott, Barry Hester
