  • Patent number: 10066894
Abstract: An improved crossbow lock mechanism assembly includes a trigger housing, a seer lever, a seer lock lever, a latch, trigger, a spring, a detent ball, and a safety slide bar having one ball detent. Selectively positioning the safety slide bar in a safe position, the spring forces the detent ball into a safety detent notch, which holds the safety bar in safety position, thus preventing movement of the seer lever. Selectively positioning the safety slide bar in a fire position results in the spring creating friction between the ball and safety bar, thus holding safety bar in place and allowing movement of the seer lever. A second embodiment uses a pivoting safety lock lever. The engagement of the seer lever with the string latch is indirect, because of a roller pin spaced therebetween. A third embodiment includes a safety slide bar, which makes indirect contact with the seer lever.

  • Patent number: 10048036
Abstract: A projectile launching device includes self-timing without cam lean. The projectile launching device may include a rail, a riser, two energy storing components, (such as two limbs), two cams, a launch string, and at least one cable. The ends of the launch string are attached to the two cams. Opposing ends of first and second cables may be coupled to the rail or riser. A mid-portion of the first and second cables are slideably engaged with the first and second cams, respectively. Alternatively, a single cable may replace the first and second cables. The two cams are preferably built as mirror images of each other at a centerline of the rail. The two cams include a launch string track, having identical, but mirrored, upper and lower cable tracks.

  • Patent number: 10012468
Abstract: A self-centering anti-dry fire device for a crossbow n improved crossbow lock mechanism assembly includes a trigger housing, a string latch, a seer lever, a combination arrow self-centering anti-dry fire and seer lock lever, a trigger and a safety slide bar. An arrow cavity is formed in a top of the combination arrow self-centering anti-dry fire and seer lock lever. A cross section of the arrow cavity may have a ā€œVā€ shape, a curved shape, a notch shape or any other suitable shape. The arrow cavity ensures that the arrow shaft is centered relative to a centerline of a barrel of the crossbow.

  • Patent number: 9945634
Abstract: A multi-draw weight archery bow with cable timing includes a shooting bow and a timing-draw device. The shooting bow includes a riser, a barrel, a first limb, a second limb, a first cam, a second cam, a bowstring, a first cable and a second cable. A rotational timing-draw device includes a rotational timing housing and a rotational timing hub. The rotational timing housing is mounted in a limb. A cable is secured to the rotational timing hub and the rotational timing hub is secured to the rotational timing housing. A multi-position draw weight and rotation device includes a multi-position and rotational draw timing hub and the rotational timing housing. The end of a cable is secured to one of four positions on the multi-position and rotation draw timing hub. A multi-position draw weight device includes a multi-position adjustable draw weight plate and a timing housing.
