Abstract: A periscope optical module is provided. The periscope optical module includes a first optical element, a second optical element, and a third optical element. The first optical element has a first optical axis. The second optical element corresponds to the first optical element and adjusts a forward direction of a light. The third optical element has a second optical axis. The third optical element corresponds to the second optical element. The light passes through the first optical element, the second optical element, and the third optical element consecutively. The first optical axis is not parallel to the second optical axis. A minimum size of the first optical element in a direction that is perpendicular to the first optical axis is larger than a maximum size of the third optical element in a direction of the first optical axis.

Abstract: A three-level encoding transmitter is disclosed in which a transmitter circuit is configured to receive an input data signal including binary data and transmit an encoded data signal. The transmitter circuit can include an inverter circuit configured transmit first and second voltages for each logical level of the binary data. A transmission control circuit can cause the inverter circuit to transmit the voltages or deactivate the inverter circuit based on a first control signal. The transmitter circuit can further include an idle circuit configured to transmit an idle voltage between the first and second voltages when there is no data transmission. The idle circuit may transmit the idle voltage based on a second control signal. The first and second control signals may be configured to only be active when the other is inactive.

Abstract: A method of repairing a rod guide assembly of a fuel control unit of an aircraft engine is provided. The method comprises disconnecting a used spring seat from the rod of the rod guide assembly and welding a replacement spring seat to the rod using an electron beam controlled using a circular beam deflection pattern.

Abstract: A system and method for an interactive digitally rendered avatar of a subject person to participate in a web meeting is described. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving an invite to a web meeting on a video conferencing platform, wherein the invite identifies a subject person and the video conferencing platform. The method also includes generating an interactive avatar of the subject person based on a data collection associated with the subject person stored in a database. The method further includes instantiating a platform integrator associated with the video conferencing platform identified in the invite and joining, by the interactive avatar of the subject person, the web meeting on the video conferencing platform. The platform integrator transforms outputs and inputs between the video conferencing platform and an interactive digitally rendered avatar system so that the interactive avatar of the subject person participates in the web meeting.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a processor configured to extract a component related to luminance of each of a sample image and a processing target image that is to undergo image processing to match an impression of the processing target image to the sample image, extract feature values of the processing target image and the sample image by attaching to a pixel value of each pixel forming the processing target image and the sample image a weight responsive to the component related to the luminance, and make adjustment to match the feature value of the processing target image to the feature value of the sample image.

The verification system is formed with a trusted execution environment, the verification system includes a processor set, and the processor set is configured to: obtain an infrared image to be verified of a target object; determine, in the trusted execution environment, whether the infrared image to be verified matches a pre-stored infrared template; in response to determining that the infrared image to be verified matches the pre-stored infrared template, obtain a depth image to be verified of the target object; and determine, in the trusted execution environment, whether the depth image to be verified matches a pre-stored depth template.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an AVS scanning method, wherein the AVS scanning method includes the steps of: mounting a system on chip (SoC) on a printed circuit board (PCB), and connecting the SoC to a storage unit; enabling the SoC to read a boot code from the storage unit, and executing the boot code to perform an AVS scanning operation on the SoC to determine a plurality of target supply voltages respectively corresponding to a plurality of operating frequencies of the SoC to establish an AVS look-up table; and storing the AVS look-up table into the SoC or the storage unit.

Abstract: A quick-change cutting assembly includes a base having a support surface for supporting a cutting blade, a clamping arm having a clamping surface, a spring interposed between the base and the clamping arm, and a pivot defining a pivot axis between the spring and the clamping surface that couples the clamping arm to the base. The spring biases the clamping surface toward the support surface and a cutting blade therebetween. The clamping arm is pivotable between a closed position where the clamping surface is parallel to the support surface and an open position removed from the closed position where the clamping surface is spaced further from the support surface. The cutting assembly further includes a locking pin transverse the direction of biasing action of the spring that connects the clamping arm to the base to prevent the clamping arm from pivoting relative to the base when in the closed position.

Abstract: A window type air conditioner includes an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger and a motor disposed in the shell. Rotating shafts at two ends of the motor are provided with an indoor fan and an outdoor fan. A thermal insulation partition is disposed on a bottom plate of the shell and divides the shell into an indoor side and an outdoor side. The thermal insulation partition includes a front clapboard fixed on the bottom plate of the shell and a thermal insulation volute disposed on the front clapboard. The indoor heat exchanger and the indoor fan are located in the thermal insulation volute. An integrated bracket is provided with a first mounting part for mounting and fixing the outdoor heat exchanger, a second mounting part for mounting and fixing the motor, and third mounting parts for connecting and fixing the front clapboard.

Abstract: Methods and systems for aligning images of a specimen generated with different modes of an imaging subsystem are provided. One method includes separately aligning first and second images generated with first and second modes, respectively, to a design for the specimen. For a location of interest in the first image, the method includes generating a first difference image for the location of interest and the first mode and generating a second difference image for the location of interest and the second mode. The method also includes aligning the first and second difference images to each other and determining information for the location of interest from results of the aligning.

Abstract: A garment's pelvic region includes an integrated, removable waistpack. The waistpack has a body portion disposed substantially between a first pair of opposing openings each leading into a respective elongate channel disposed along opposite sides of a waistband area of the pelvic region. The removable waistpack's body portion defines a compartment. Belt portions extend from opposing ends of the body portion through a respective opening in the first pair of opposing openings and through a respective channel and out a respective one of a second pair of opposing openings for the channels. Thereby the waistpack encircles the waistband region of the garment. The belt portions disposed in the channels are removably received in and concealed by the channels.

Abstract: Provided herein are deposition systems utilizing coated grids in an ion deposition process which provide more predictable erosion of the coating rather than erosion of the grid itself. Further, coatings may be utilized in which the coating material does not act as a contaminant to the deposition process, thereby eliminating contamination of the sample surface due to deposition of unwanted grid material. Also provided are methods of refurbishing a coated grid by periodically replacing the coating material thus protecting the grid itself and allowing a grid to be used indefinitely.

Abstract: A vacuum sucker is installed on a robotic arm to suck an object. The robotic arm includes a body and a tip axis. The tip axis is disposed with an adapter plate. The vacuum sucker includes a housing, an actuator, and a flexible suction cup. The actuator passes through the housing and includes a main part, a thrust rod, and an elastic element. The main part has a first end and a hollow slot. The flexible suction cup is sleeved on the first end and is formed with an air chamber. When the thrust rod is located at the first position, the air chamber and the hollow slot are not intercommunicated with each other. When the thrust rod is driven by the adapter plate to move to a second position, the air chamber and the hollow slot are intercommunicated with each other.
