Abstract: A system and method for communicating across multiple heterogeneous hosts using a two-tier software infrastructure where messaging software is used to handle all intra- and inter-host messaging and application software is divided into functional blocks called software entities where these entities communicate with one another through the messaging software. The messaging software communicates with other hosts using TCP/IP connection, where information about the registered entities such as location and state are communicated using a routing protocol such as RIP. This framework provides a new means of communication between functionally well-separated software components.

Abstract: The present invention is a system and method to enable advertisement subsidized telecommunications services, which can deliver a campaign comprised of multiple advertisements, each advertisement using a different format (text, audio and video), to user's different terminals (cell phone, soft phone, PDA, PC, etc.) by using different telecommunications channels (text message, phone call, multimedia message, ring tone) simultaneously. The system is comprised of three layers: a campaign manager to manage campaign state, a service logic, which determines the user population and the channel best matching each advertisement's content and format, and a channel manager which emulates a confederation of service applications to simultaneously tap into various telecommunications channels through a Service Delivery Platform (SDP), or by directly attaching to the operator's network.

Abstract: A method of creating messaging application services by using a drag and drop user interface without needing to write computer programs. The messaging application flow is created in VASC (Value Added Services Creation) system by using micro-service blocks which are connected together in an orderly fashion to represent a service. The service execution logic pulls an application flow based on a service request by a mobile user form a service database and executes it to provide content to the user from a content database.
