Abstract: A lighting device includes two or more independently controlled sources of light, operational within a structure having a ground surface and a ceiling surface. A first source of light emits light with predetermined correlated color temperature upward towards a portion of the ceiling directly above the lighting device, without obstruction from the lighting device. The second source of light emits light with a predetermined correlated color temperature downward, towards the floor surface. A controller independently adjusts the color temperature and intensity of the sources of light according to a time schedule.
