Patents Assigned to Arjowiggins Security Integrale Solutions
  • Patent number: 8963778
Abstract: An assembly includes a wire antenna including at least on conductive turn, a first fibrous substrate on which the antenna extend. The first substrate comprises at least one coated paper including a fibrous base containing at least 30 mass % of natural fibers in the fibrous mass. The antenna is connected to a face of the flexible substrate. The paper includes on that face at least one surface layer containing at least one mineral load and a coating binder. The fibrous base may contain at least 40 mass %, preferably 50 mass %, more preferably 60 mass % and ideally at least 70 mass % of natural fibers, with preferably a lower proportion of long natural fibers relative to short ones when the fibrous mass includes synthetic fibers, in particular between 5 and 25% of synthetic fibers.

  • Patent number: 8292186
Abstract: The invention relates to a security document including a fiber inner layer including at least one security element, a recto outer layer and a verso outer layer, the two outer layers being made of a transparent thermoplastic material, and an RFID device, the RFID device being housed within at least one inner layer of transparent or translucent material. The invention also provides a method of fabricating the security document.

  • Publication number: 20110215563
Abstract: The invention provides a structure comprising: a fiber layer; a sub-structure including a translucent region; a watermark or pseudo-watermark carried by the fiber layer and superposed at least in part with the translucent region of the sub-structure, such that, in the translucent region of the sub-structure, the watermark or pseudo-watermark is observable in light transmitted through the structure only from the face of the structure that is adjacent to the fiber layer; and an integrated microcircuit device for communicating with or without contact.

  • Publication number: 20110102153
Abstract: A document including an integrated microcircuit device, in particular an RFID device, the document including at least one detector configured to detect a change in at least one physicochemical magnitude, which detection is capable of being performed away from the read field of an external reader capable of obtaining at least some information relating to said change from the integrated microcircuit device, the integrated microcircuit device being configured, during communication with the external reader to inform it that there has been an attempt at attacking the physical integrity of the document as a result of detecting a corresponding change of said at least one physicochemical magnitude.
