Abstract: Systems and methods to regulate flow of bodily fluids, such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), including a fluid chamber, an inlet port to receive the bodily fluid into the fluid chamber, an outlet port to remove the bodily fluid from the chamber, and a pressure element to regulate the amount of fluid flowing from the inlet port to the outlet port based on a pressure of the bodily fluid against an absolute pressure reference.

Abstract: A medical device insertion system, and a method of using the system, to mate trocars inside a patient during a medical procedure, the system including a first trocar having a first end to insert into a patient, and a second end at which a first user control is provided, and a second trocar having a first end to insert into a patient, and a second end at which a second user control is provided, wherein the respective first ends of the first and second trocars are formed so as to mate to one another inside the patient to form a continuous path between the respective second ends.
