  • Patent number: 11220363
Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging method, a transport package, and use of the packaging method for transporting products by means of a drone. According to the invention, a product to be packaged is placed in an open inner wrapping that is pretensioned on elastic traction cables in order to hold the product approximately centrally in an outer package. After insertion, the wrapping is closed and evacuated until it lies tightly against the product, and the traction cables are thereby further tensioned.

  • Patent number: 10420423
Abstract: An item of seating furniture, in particular an office chair, has a seat carrier for a horizontal seat member, and a backrest carrier for a vertical backrest. The backrest carrier is constructed in a substantially U-shaped manner with two vertically orientated U-shaped members and with a horizontal upper U-shaped member. Wherein, along at least one rotation axis which extends below the seat member, a first rotary joint and a second rotary joint are provided for the lateral tilting movability of the backrest with respect to the seat carrier. The first and second rotary joints are arranged spaced apart from each other along the rotation axis.

  • Patent number: 7959142
Abstract: Proposed is a clamping device for clamping pipes, particularly plastic pipes for welding on butt welding machines. A base part (10) and a clamping lid (11) that is removable from the same or can be pivoted away from the same each have, to receive a pipe, a receptacle channel (13, 14) with circle segment-shaped cross section, whose circle segment radius is matched to the pipe radius. To provide for clamping also pipes with a smaller radius, at least one clamping insert is provided that is fixable in the receptacle channel (13) of the base part (10) and consists of an insert base part (23) and an insert clamping lid (25) that is removable from the same or can be pivoted away from the same, whose receptacle channels (30, 31) have a circle segment-shaped cross section with a smaller circle segment radius than that of the base part (10). Accordingly, when clamping smaller pipes the usually very heavy clamping lid (11) does not need to be provided with inserts and does not need to be pivoted.

  • Publication number: 20060164275
Abstract: A delay device has at least one first delay element and optional additional delay elements connected downstream from the first in a serially consecutive manner. The digital input signal is connected to an input of the first delay element and is connected to an input of a first D/A converter. The output of the first delay element is connected to an input of another D/A converter assigned thereto. The optional additional delay elements each have outputs connected to an input of another D/A converter assigned to the respective delay elements. All D/A converters are combined on the output side in a step-by-step manner so that output signals of all D/A converters form the analog output signal or the device. A specific coefficient is assigned to each D/A converter, and a specific delay time is assigned to each delay element for realizing a filter characteristic.

  • Patent number: 6896329
Abstract: The chair, particularly an office chair, has a backrest articulated to a seat support by way of a rest support. A seat surface is movable synchronously with the backrest. A front region of the seat surface is connected to the seat support via a sliding guide and a rear region is connected to the seat support via a seat link. A distance from an upper pivot point, which connects the seat link to the seat surface, to the backrest is shorter than the distance from a lower pivot point, which connects the seat link to the seat support, to the backrest. The movements of the backrest and of the seat surface are synchronized by a sliding guide provided between the seat link and the rest support.

  • Patent number: 6008452
Abstract: A closure for use on a hollow, upright, open top and open bottom pedestal for receiving underground wiring having a circumferential collar portion surrounding the open top that receives a nut member, the closure being hollow with a closed top and an open bottom and a circumferential collar portion surrounding the open bottom, the open bottom being dimensioned to telescopically receive the pedestal open top and having a radially oriented opening in the cover collar portion that is in alignment with the nut member when the cover is in closed position on the pedestal, including a radially extending tubular barrel welded to the cover collar portion in alignment with the opening therein and extending radially and exteriorly of said cover collar portion and a bolt received within the tubular barrel and threadably engageable with the nut.

  • Patent number: 5159247
Abstract: A rain-actuated control for covering systems makes it possible to obtain a device capable of automatically closing open coverings in the event of rain. The device must be simple and easy to mount in existing installations. The rain-actuated control comprises a sensor consisting of two electrodes (1,15) with an intermediate layer of glass (13) and air (29) which functions as a capacitor. When rain is deposited (30) on the glass, the dielectric constant of the glass is changed, and signals are generated, which cause the control system to close the covering system. Automobile windows and automobile bodies can be used advantageously as elements of the capacitor.

  • Patent number: 4916757
Abstract: A glove is formed of plastic films which are sealed together along lateral edges between which is formed a peripheral seal in the form of a contour providing thumb, forefinger and further receptacles. The further receptacle is intended to accommodate three fingers. In this arrangement, interior seals are provided which are in part spaced from the lateral edges and parallel thereto but which merge with the respective lateral edges to form lateral receptacles between which is an opening for the penetration of the hand of the user. The films are processed by bringing two films together and forming the contour seal thereon while forming at the lateral edges a rectilinear seal having on opposite sides thereof the adjacent interior seals of two successive gloves. The successive gloves are made separable by the provision of a line of perforations which are formed in correspondence with the lateral seals.

  • Patent number: 4884445
Abstract: An otherwise conventional Jamar dynamometer is provided with a force transducer. The analog output of the force transducer is sampled at regular intervals and converted to a sequence of digital values by a conventional analog-to-digital converter. The digital output of the converter is processed by a conventional computer in real time to produce an output that clearly indicates the maximum force exerted by the subject and whether or not the subject was sincerely attempting to exert a maximum force while the test was in process. Preferably the output comprises both a graphic display of the forces exerted by the subject over a predetermined interval of time and a statistical analysis of those forces. The output data includes calculated discriminator variables which indicate with a high statistical accuracy whether the subject was sincerely exerting a maximal force on the dynamometer when instructed to do so. In an exemplary embodiment, the computer is a MS.TM.

  • Patent number: 4587674
Abstract: A disposable cap is formed by sealing together two sheets of thermoplastic film in such a manner as to form an enclosure having an access opening with respect thereto. Adjacent the access opening in one of the sheets of film is cut a T-shaped arrangement of slits which form two straps or ties in the resulting product. These straps or ties are located adjacent the opening and are attended to adapt the construction to the various head sizes of various users. The excess film material is trimmed off. A relatively large seal is effected adjacent the roots of the ties or straps in order to provide an anchorage for the same.
