Abstract: The present invention relates to biologic tissues, which are used to create cellular matrix scaffolds to help repair the body. The invention discloses two specific implant shapes that are pre-cut to address two separate pelvic floor prolapses (anterior and/or posterior). Additionally, the method of providing surgeries-specific pre-shaped biologic scaffolds is also claimed.
Abstract: A fluid lubricated projectile trap includes a substantially cylindrical chamber defined by a forward concave wall and a rearward concave wall. A bullet funnel extending forwardly therefrom. The funnel having a lower panel connecting to the forward concave wall in conjunction with an end plate defines a pressurized fluid containment with discharge outlets directed to the rearward concave wall. All plumbing may be secured below the ramp and forward of the chamber.
Abstract: A semi-automatic or automatic rifle comprising a barrel attached to and upper receiver and including a compressible bolt carrier extension system. The compressible bolt carrier extension system includes a bolt carrier, an extension spring, two pins, and a reciprocation bolt carrier extension piece. As a whole, the compressible bolt carrier extension system makes possible the use of elongated upper and lower receivers to be used for chambering long-action or other center fire cartridges for use with AR rifles such as the M-16, and M4 etc., eliminating the need for any buffer or buffer tubes other than those commercially available. A further advantage of the compressible bolt carrier extension system is the reduction of felt recoil as the system fully loads during the recoil stroke as it pushes against the buffer absorbing additional recoil energy. The system can be incorporated into firearms using a variety of cartridges.
Abstract: The present invention teaches a tie down bracket for restraining an extending lanyard associated with a weapon rail mounted accessory. The bracket includes a first body portion supported by the rail and a second body portion releasably engaged to the first body portion. The body portions exhibit opposing surfaces between which is placed a length of the lanyard prior to compressing the body portions against one another to engage and fix the lanyard.
Abstract: An attachable and length adjustable cover for use with a fiber optic light receptor band associated with an optical gunsight for varying an amount of light which is permitted to enter the fiber optic of the rifle scope and be communicated to the associated reticle display. A body overlays the fiber optic band and includes a plurality of telescopically adjustable sections which overlays at least a corresponding portion of the optic band and which is movable in at least one direction to vary an exposed portion of the band which is available for collecting ambient light.
Abstract: An improved shim construction incorporating a thin body exhibiting a profile generally matching a selected mounting ear of a lower assembleable receiver, the shim including an arcuate perimeter with an flat interconnected base surface. The body exhibits an aperture defined therein such that, upon placement between an inner facing surface of the ear and an intermediate positioned cylindrical shaped portion, a subsequent widthwise traversing installation of a pivot pin causes the shim body to be sandwiched between the receivers to occupys an excess tolerance, thereby reducing or eliminating instances of misaligning slop or play exhibited between the receivers. The shim may exhibit a thickness in a range of 0.001? to 0.010?. A plurality of shims can be provided as a kit and which are applied in scalable fashion to compensate for varying excess tolerance established between the receivers.
