Abstract: The grass-cutting head (101) has a body (103) forming a housing for at least one spool of cutting line (F1; F2), provided with at least one outlet hole (111) of an end of the cutting line wound on said spool positioned inside the head. For each outlet hole, a guide channel for the cutting line is also provided, extending from the inside of the housing towards the hole and having an inclined trend, gradually moving away from said axis of rotation.
Abstract: A grass-cutting head (1) including: a housing (3); and at least one spool (5) placed in the housing and on which a cutting line (F) can be wound. The spool is accessible from the outside to enable a supply of cutting line to be wound onto it without taking said spool out of the housing. A stop is provided to hold the spool in the housing while the supply of cutting line is being wound onto the spool.
Abstract: A reel (1) for winding a cutting cord for a grass-cutting device is described, said reel comprising a first and a second series of axially and angularly staggered teeth and, having constrained with it, an axially movable slider (21) provided with a toothing (23) cooperating with the first and the second series of teeth.

Abstract: The cord-type grass-cutting head includes a container (3, 4) having arranged inside it at least one reel (5) of cutting cord (F), the ends of which emerge from holes in the container, and an operating mechanism for controlled unwinding of the cord from the reel, which mechanism comprise a sliding actuating member (17, 19) projecting from the container, a slit being defined between the sliding member and the container. A flexible protective membrane (33) covers the slit between the sliding member (17, 19) and the container (3, 4).
Abstract: In order to obtain a lengthening maneuver of the active ends emerging from the rotating housing (1, 5, 3) containing the bobbin or bobbins (16) of the cords (F) during the rotation of said housing, the bobbin (16) has in the wall (18) of the internal hole two series of mutually staggered teeth (20, 22; 120, 122), some (20; 120) of which are developed along one axial section and the others (22; 122) along the remaining axial section; an element (34, 30), which is capable of axial sliding movements, has a disk (30) which projects elastically below the housing (1, 5, 3) and is capable of being made to reenter by means of pressure on the ground, as well as entrainment teeth (36) which are axially slidable, rotationally engaged on said housing and capable of engaging alternately the teeth of the two series (20, 22; 120, 122) upon each axial stroke and thus of permitting each time a unitary angular advance in two stages.
