  • Patent number: 11298789
Abstract: A method for determining and/or monitoring the state of a protective cover, includes the steps of a) obtaining a first state value of at least one characteristic physical, mechanical and/or chemical property of the protective cover at a first point in time; and b) obtaining a second state value of the at least one characteristic property of the protective cover at a second point in time, which is to subsequent to the first point in time; and c) comparing the obtained state values; and d) determining the state of the protective cover based on the comparison performed in step c).

  • Patent number: 10753537
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective cover (01) comprising at least one protective cover element (02), which is variable in length, and comprising a frame element (04), said frame element (04) being capable of being connected to the protective cover element (02), said protective cover element (02)comprising at least one holding means (03) and said frame element (04) comprising at least one fastening means (06) in the area of a first longitudinal edge (05a), the connection between the holding means (03) and the fastening means (06) being a detachable, in particular force-fitting and/or interlocking, snap connection.

  • Patent number: 10086488
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective cover comprising a plurality of protective cover segments (1), which can be moved telescopically against one another and which have a covering leg (2) and a supporting leg (3), and comprising a connecting element or bellows (4). When the protective cover is telescopically extended, an elastic restoring element produces a torque (M) and transfers said torque to the supporting leg (3). The invention is characterized in that the elastic restoring element is an integral component of the connecting element (4) in that the connecting element (4) has flexural rigidity and is connected to the supporting leg (3) in a planar manner along a height portion (h) of the supporting leg (3). Owing to the invention, an additional elastic restoring element and the attachment thereof to the supporting leg are no longer necessary.

  • Patent number: 9481065
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective covering comprising a plurality of substantially L-shaped protective covering segments (2, 16) comprising a cover leg (3, 17) and a support leg (4, 18) which are arranged relative to one another in such a way that they are telescopically slidable with respect to one another, wherein the cover legs (3, 17) of adjacent protective covering segments (2, 16) each come to bear on one another thus forming an overall substantially closed surface, and comprising at least one band-shaped or web-shaped flexible connecting element (5, 31) which connects the support legs (4, 18) of the protective covering segments (2, 16) with each other so as to at least transfer a tensile force.

  • Patent number: 7905160
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective cover comprising at least two protective-cover elements arranged one after the other in the direction of movement of the protective cover, each comprising at least one frame element (22, 22?) which is provided with at least two frame sections (23, 24) which are offset with respect to one another, wherein at least one lamella element (1, 20) is arranged on each frame section in such a manner that the lamella elements slidingly overlap frame elements (22?) arranged directly one after the other in a telescopic manner to form a substantially closed cover and wherein each frame section of each frame element is provided with a separate lamella element, whereas respectively one first lamella element (1) on a first frame section (23) comprises a tab (5) which overlaps the offset region to the second frame section (24) of the same frame element (22), wherein the tab grips behind a second lamella element (20) on the second frame section in such a manner that the tab of the first la
