Abstract: A process for reinforcing blocks of stone material, in particular extracted from a quarry, comprises the following operative steps: preparing a block of stone material to be treated on a mobile carriage; spreading on said block a layer or film of suitable resin by means of spraying; stretching over the entire surface of the said resin block a reinforcing fabric or fibre layer; and removing the so reinforced block from said carriage after a preset time.
Abstract: A block tool for surface finishing operations, which has a support and coupling member (2) for connection to a machine tool, and an abrasive block (3) held by the support member (2), the abrasive block being obtained from a solution or emulsion of a granular abrasive material dispersed in a matrix comprising a thermoplastic resin.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for obtaining artificial stone materials, which composition includes a compound selected from the group comprising benzopinacol and at least one derivative thereof. The present invention also relates to a mixture for obtaining an artificial stone material, including a resin compound and the above mentioned composition in a percentage ranging from 0.1 to 10% by weight with respect to the resin compound.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a matter composition, and a method for obtaining the same, comprising at least one fluid hardenable resin component and at least one toning component suitable for changing its colour or colour shade depending upon the kind of energy applied to the composition. The matter composition can be advantageously used as a building material or for covering building materials.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for obtaining at least one abrasive portion for a substantially blade-like cutting tool for cutting building materials comprising the steps of: prearranging a mixture comprising at least one abrasive component and at least one filling matrix component based on a mouldable pasty material, and injection molding said mixture in at least one seat (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) of a mold (1, 1a, 1b, 1c).
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for making an annular abrasion bead element for a cutting wire for cutting relatively hard materials, comprising the following sequential steps: loading a mixture of metal material powder and abrasive granular material into at least one annular seat of a first mold; forming said mixture in said mold, thus obtaining at least one formed annular element with inner through opening (5); and sintering each formed annular element to obtain a finished annular abrasive element.
