Abstract: A series of disposable absorbent articles designed to fit wearers at different stages of development including a first absorbent article configured to fit a wearer in a first stage of development and a second absorbent article configured to fit a wearer in a second stage of development different than the first stage. The first and second absorbent articles have a common character graphic thereon, the graphic depicted differently in the first and second absorbent articles.

Abstract: An absorbent article having a chassis with a front section, a rear section and opposed lateral side edges. A pair of hybrid stretch ears are attached to one of the front section and the rear section of the chassis. Each of the hybrid stretch ears include a non-elastic portion and an elastic portion, the non-elastic portion of each hybrid stretch ear being attached to one of the opposed lateral side-edges of the chassis. The non-elastic portion and the elastic portion of each hybrid stretch ear are sized and positioned relative to one another such that the elastic portion is positioned outside of respective leg opening areas defined by the opposed lateral side edges of the chassis when the absorbent article is secured to the torso of a wearer.

Abstract: An absorbent article having a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, an absorbent core disposed in between, and multiple barrier leg cuffs. The multiple barrier leg cuffs have at least one elasticized cuff and at least one non-elasticized cuff.
Abstract: An absorbent article, such as a disposable diaper, having a topsheet, barrier cuffs, an optional acquisition layer, an absorbent core, a barrier layer, and a backsheet. The diaper is arranged so as to create breathable zones of reduced stiffness surrounding the wearer's thighs. That is, the layers of material forming the diaper are arranged so the area surrounding the wearer's thighs includes only the backsheet, barrier cuffs and leg elastics. No liquid-impervious material is present within the breathable zones of reduced stiffness. Furthermore, these breathable zones of reduced stiffness preferably are formed so that only hydrophobic material is present. Thus, providing a better fitting, less irritating absorbent article by reducing the stiffness and increasing the breathability of the diaper in the area surrounding the wearer's thighs, resulting in increased comfort and fit around the wearer's thighs.
