Abstract: A dice scanner for assisting in electronic gaming is disclosed which comprises a flat scanner with a scanning surface and a processor. The scanning surface is adapted for the rolling of one or more thrown dice and the flat scanner is configured for acquiring images of the scanning surface and the dice rolling or resting on that scanning surface in real time. The processor is configured for receiving one or more acquired images of the scanning surface and deriving therefrom data relating to the dice. The dice scanner also comprises a video acquisition system and/or an audio acquisition system which are arranged relative to the scanning surface such that at least a user face and/or at least a user voice can be recorded while gaming.

Abstract: A compressed pressure vessel suitable for serving as construction element for building energy storage constructions thereof is described. The compressed pressure vessel comprises a first, inner, segment, wherein the inner segment comprises an inlet for filling or emptying the inner segment and wherein the inner segment is suitable for storing hydrogen, and a second, outer, segment, the outer segment adapted for being filled with a fluid, different from hydrogen, wherein the outer segment is substantially fully encompassing the inner segment.

Abstract: A control panel for controlling a device comprises a scanning device being a plane surface scanner configured for scanning instantaneously an image of a surface of interest. It also comprises a front panel with a front side surface facing the user and a back side surface facing the scanning device and thus being scanable and at least one controller element mounted in the front panel and having contrast markings at the back side facing the scanner device with respect to a color of other portions of the back side of the front panel so that a state of the at least one controller is recognizable from an optical image of the back side of the front panel.
