Abstract: The present invention provides a process for dyeing hydrophobic polymer fibers, including the step of contacting the goods with an amount of a dyeing solution effective to dye the goods, wherein the solution comprises an amount of a terpene/terpenoid solvent and a dyestuff. The present invention also provides a composition for dissolving and dispersing a dyestuff for dyeing hydrophobic polymer fibers, including effective amounts of a terpene/terpenoid solvent for dissolving the dyestuff.
