Abstract: A self-tapping screw has a thread shaft having a leading end, a wood screw thread provided on the thread shaft and having a plurality of turns, and milling profiles formed on the turns of the wood screw thread and spaced from one another in an axial direction, the milling profiles becoming smaller the further away the milling profiles are from the leading end, some thread turns at a head end of the thread shaft being free of milling profiles.

Abstract: A fixing element for securing a facing panel to a masonry and anchorable in an undercut of a drilled hole formed in the facing panel, has an expansion member with an expander cone, formed at an end thereof and a shank portion extendable beyond the rear surface of the facing panel and projecting into the masonry. Holding elements is formed on the shank portion to reliably fix the shank portion in the masonry, and an expansible sleeve is displaceable over the expander cone for anchoring the fixing element in the undercut of the hole drilled in the facing panel.

Abstract: An anchoring arrangement for securing an object to a support structure having an internal cavity includes an anchoring element which extends through an anchoring hole into the internal cavity and includes a hollow anchoring member having a passage at its leading end and a collar mounted on the trailing end of the anchoring member so as to surround the same, which supports the anchoring element in the anchoring hole and closes the anchoring hole around the anchoring member. A bag-shaped limiting member surrounds at least a portion of the anchoring element and defines a compartment therewith, and hardenable material is introduced into the compartment through the interior of the anchoring member and through the passage to fill the compartment and to harden therein in form of a body of hardened material which attaches the anchoring element to the support structure and prevents an extraction thereof from the anchoring hole.
